Family is what fills our hearts with joy. We have always wanted to have a home bustling with children, laughter, and love.

Adoption gives us the gift of having a family of our own. Kyle's job as an elementary school assistant principal and Sara's work with pediatric physical therapy make us specially qualified to be able to care for, love, and support your child in every way. Due to infertility we have been unable to have children biologically. We loved being foster parents, but after our foster kiddos were reunited with their families, we knew we wanted to adopt. We are so excited to be in the adoption process now and can't wait to meet you!

We met at a crazy Christmas sweater party 15 years ago and it was love at first sight. Sara couldn't resist the charm in Kyle's twinkling blue eyes and Santa hat, and Kyle couldn't resist Sara's dazzling red hair and big smile. We spent the next 9 days straight going on dates, then got married two years later, and have been happily married for 12 years. Our lives are filled with belly laughs, adventures, hugs, and good books. We are each other's best friends and soulmates. We send each other texts during the day and curl up on the couch together with our pup, Taco, in the evening. We can't wait to add a child to our lives!

Hi! I'm Sara. I love people. I'm all about hugs and smiles and a listening ear. I'm a very kind, tenderhearted person. I look for ways to help people around me. I like making my homemade pumpkin cranberry bread and bringing it to neighbors with a note. I try to encourage people. My friends and family often come to me when they are going through a difficult time. In general, I think people want to feel valued, be listened to, and feel cared for.

I love animals, sunshine, nature, painting, reading, lattes, and laughter. I cry when there is a happy ending of a movie. My favorite season is Fall and I love to decorate our home for the different holidays and seasons.

I work from home as an artist, which gives me a lot of flexibility with my hours. I can't wait to be a full-time mom! Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of growing up to have a house full of children, spending my weekends running to soccer games, reading children's books, and listening to giggles as we dance around the kitchen.

Sara is the most wonderful person I know. Her kind hearted, adventurous, and imaginative spirit brings joy everyday. She cares deeply about others and always puts their needs before her own.

Sara embodies kindness in everything she does. She cares deeply about her family, friends, and strangers. When we are out and about she will drop what we are doing to check on strangers if they look like they are in need of help. Maybe above all others she loves and cares about animals.

Sara will make an amazing mom. Her imaginative nature comes out most when she is with children. She enjoys creating crafts and activities that kids love. Whenever we visit our nieces or nephews she also brings special treats for them so they know they are loved. I can't wait to have a child of our own to watch the amazing experiences Sara creates for them.

Hi! I'm Kyle. I have a happy spirit that helps me find the goodness out of everyday. I try to bring joy to those around me and inspire people to be their best selves. I am kind and caring and try to do the right thing all the time.

I'm an outdoor enthusiast and love going on adventures in the wilderness. I like skiing, biking, hiking, swimming, running, yoga, and all things outside. Through these pursuits I have developed a real never give up attitude which helps me in all my day to day activities.

In addition to an active lifestyle, I like unwinding with comic books, movies, and TV shows. I find a lot of joy in reading about heroes and learning lessons about doing what's right.

I am incredibly excited to become a dad and teach positive character traits as well as provide a fun loving, kind, and caring life to a child. I am excited for kid friendly adventures that delight the heart and mind of a child. I can't wait for the journey of fatherhood to begin!

Kyle is my favorite person in the whole world. He is honest, kind, loyal and loving. He has integrity and always does the right thing - even when no one is watching. He is always positive and filled with joy. People naturally gravitate toward him because he often has a kind word and a big smile. He usually has me laughing, but can also be very tender and gives the very best bear hugs.

Kyle is a unique combination of part nerd and part athlete. He loves marvel comics and action heroes as well as Star Wars. He skis and runs, and does triathlons. He's a hard worker, always going above and beyond to help anyone who might need help.

I witnessed firsthand what an amazing father Kyle will be when we were fostering. He would take them hiking or ride bikes around the neighborhood, and each night he would read bedtime stories in funny voices. Not to mention, he makes the best waffles. He's my best friend and I'm so thankful for him!

We live in a cheerful cabin in the woods, just a block from Donner Lake and Donner State Park. We have a big front yard with Sara's art studio, two front decks, and a big back deck where we spend time doing Summer BBQs. The "kid's bedroom" in our house has tall ceilings with a cozy kid's reading nook filled with children's books. There are even two loft beds with a rope ladder for sleepovers.

We live in the town of Truckee in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, just 20 minutes from Lake Tahoe. Living here is like being in a Hallmark movie! Our community has big 4th of July celebrations at the Lake, Christmas tree lighting ceremonies with caroling, concerts in the park, weekly craft markets in the Summer, and Farmer's Markets with fresh baked goodies.

We each come from big families and love family gatherings and dinners on holidays. We love spending time with all of our family and friends and they are so excited for our adoption journey!

Sara's parents have been married for over 50 years and Kyle's parents for 46 years! We go on camping trips with Sara's family every year and roast s'mores under the stars. Kyle's mom and dad also visit and play Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Elementary school holiday breakfast.

We are the cool Auntie Bear (as Sara is called) and Uncle Kyle to our two nephews and two nieces. We love going to the pumpkin patch every year, skiing with the nephews, and having big Thanksgiving feasts with loads of pie!

Living in Tahoe means that everyone wants to visit us for their vacations! Our best friends from Washington visit every Summer.
