Hello! We are Ryan & Michael from Fort Worth, Texas. You have our profound and deepest gratitude for learning more about us. Your courage humbles us, and we appreciate that people like you are willing to help others make their dreams of a family become a reality. We can’t wait to be parents, and build a life of love and happiness with a child of our own.
Dear Birth Mom...
About Us
We met back in 2011 in Dallas, instantly clicking as friends and soon, more. Our first date blossomed into a cherished memory—it’s now the date of our engagement and wedding! We both adore the beach, tacos, and being part of each other’s families.
In 2022, after adventures in Los Angeles and Chicago, we settled in Fort Worth. Ryan thrives in Advertising, and Michael excels in Construction Management, all while loving life with our three dogs: Arrow, Romulus, and Knox.
Our bond celebrates both our differences and similarities. Michael brings the laughs; Ryan, the warmth. While Michael dives into history, Ryan is all about pop culture.
Together, we’re dedicated parents first, eager to nurture a knowledgeable, caring child who appreciates diverse cultures and ideas, and knows they are deeply loved.
Memorable Moments Together
- The surprise on Michael’s face when Ryan gave him a black lab puppy on Christmas Day! (Our sweet Caroline!)
- Driving the trail in Maui called the Road to Hana. Indescribable beauty and tranquility
- Having “hibernation days” where we stay in and binge movies or tv shows and just relax
- While visiting Puerto Rico with a group of friends, we would get up early and walk into town to visit this charming little bakery for breakfast
Meet Ryan, by Ryan
Born in Tennessee, I've hopped from South Carolina back to Tennessee, and finally to Texas, where I finished high school and college. As the middle child of three, I often play the role of the eldest, being the go-to for advice. Growing up was a family affair, surrounded by cousins, aunts, and uncles, all of whom inspired my dreams of fatherhood.
Childhood was a blissful, outdoor adventure—playing at my grandparents' lake house or racing bikes with my brother. We crafted entire worlds from our imaginations, a gift of wonder I can't wait to pass on to my own kids.
I'm all about pop culture—comics, movies, TV, books, and anything canine. This love steered me into a creative career in Advertising as a strategist, where I solve problems and predict trends. Working from home offers the flexibility to be there for our future child whenever needed.
Off the clock, I'm in the kitchen, cooking or baking. It's a family trait, my mom would say. From homemade pasta to simple scrambled eggs, I cherish preparing meals for my loved ones.
About Ryan, by Michael
Ryan is truly the heart of calm in our lives—always steady, loving, and deeply passionate about the world around him, as well as his family and friends. For the past thirteen years, he has been the brightest part of my day, consistently offering kindness and love that serve as a comforting anchor in my life.
I’ve always dreamed of having a family, and it’s Ryan’s support that fills me with the courage to pursue this dream. I have no doubts whatsoever that he will extend the same steadfast love to being a dad as he does in all areas of his life. I am certain he will be the most wonderful father a child could ever hope for.
Meet Michael, by Michael
I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, blessed from the start with a large and loving family that truly made everything possible in my life. After my parents divorced when I was in kindergarten, my mother took on the monumental task of raising my older brother and me, her efforts beautifully supported by a close-knit circle of aunts, uncles, and grandparents who ensured we had every advantage a child could wish for.
I’ve spent the last 20 years working in construction, and I genuinely love what I do every day. There’s something magical about planning a project and then watching that plan come to life.
At heart, I am driven by a deep passion—for my home, my work, staying active, my dog, and my husband. I am eager to bring this same passion and dedication to caring for my child, ensuring they have all the love and support they need to thrive.
About Michael, by Ryan
Loving Michael has brought immense joy to my life. He’s a spirited individual, driven by honor and integrity. An intellectual at heart, Michael adores history, architecture, and deep explorations of knowledge. Yet, he’s also playful and hilarious. Many of my mornings and nights are filled with his jokes, leaving me laughing until my sides ache. His sharp wit pairs with a tender heart—a blend that will make him a wonderful father. He intuitively knows when to be playful and when to be earnest. Michael is naturally drawn to children, showing immediate, fierce protectiveness for those he loves. I’m thrilled to embark on this journey with him.

Our home is nestled on the west side of Fort Worth, not far from a vast park and trail system, perfect for weekend strolls and nature outings. Our house is a spacious five-bedroom with ample room, including a nursery near our bedroom. We cherish our time at home, and have invested heartily in making our space both comfortable and inviting.
Baseball is a big part of our lives; we adore the Rangers and catch games whenever we can, enjoying the excitement both at the stadium and from our cozy living room.
We live within ten minutes of twenty-five grandparents, cousins, uncles, and aunts, along with a slew of friends. We’re eager to surround our future child with love and family.
We’re excited about the idea of raising our family in such a serene and picturesque setting, surrounded by nature yet close to the conveniences of city life.
Meet Our Dogs
We have three wonderful and loving dogs – Arrow, Romulus, and Knox.
Ryan rescued Arrow about thirteen years ago from the SPCA in Dallas, TX. Arrow is never far from Ryan’s side and has the softest bunny-like fur. He’s great with kids and loves to cuddle.
Ryan and Michael adopted Romulus and Knox from a black Labrador rescue, and they are inseparable buddies. Romulus is quite taken with Michael and eager to play fetch outside. Knox likes to cuddle and watch the squirrels outside the window.
All three dogs are great with kids and are protective of their family.
