Hello! We are Jenn and Lou from Timonium, Maryland. We respect and admire your choice to choose adoption even though we can’t imagine how difficult this time is for you. We know you are an incredibly brave, strong, and loving woman to be taking this path and we hope we share your journey. Adoption is the only option we ever considered when we discussed starting a family. We believe in creating a home where the freedom and support to become exactly who they dreamed of being.

We met while working at Walt Disney World and were lucky we got into the parks for free since it was a cheap date. We even got a discount on movies and would see multiple movies in a day. We are now fortunate that we can pay to not only enjoy the parks but also the special events.

Hello! I'm Jenn. I am the youngest of two; my brother is six years older than me. He currently lives in San Diego, California. We grew up in a multi-generational home, as my grandmother lived with us. I was very close to my aunt who lived in Florida. I was close to my parents, but I always wanted to be a part of a larger family. Having a small but close family gave me confidence to pursue my dreams.

I enjoy being active, but I love to read, listen to vinyls and travel, especially to historical places.

I am working as a Library Assistant at an all boys high school while pursuing my masters degree in Library and Information Science. I hope to either work in an archive or in an academic library when I graduate. I love to perform and am very active in community theater. I love dancing, running and hiking.

I met Jenn in late 2000, and ever since I have wanted to become a better person. She is my constant support throughout whatever obstacle may arise. She was there financially and emotionally while I finished my degree. She is a caring partner that enjoys being social but prefers sitting down with a good book.

Without her there is no way I would be the person that I am today.

Hello! I'm Lou. I am the 5th of 10 children, 6 girls and 4 boys. Being part of a larger family gave me tools that I have utilized throughout my life. I work as IT for a healthcare company which gives me the opportunity to be fully remote and spend time with our future child. I’m active in the local theater community both on the stage and behind the scenes.

You can usually find me outside running, hiking, gardening or just relaxing by grilling and listening to vinyl records.

Lou has been my rock and support. He is always there for me and his calm and easy going manner calm me when I am stressed. He is talented and we can talk about everything. He is more social than I am, but enjoys being at home working on the yard or house.

Without his support, I would not be pursuing the things I am today. I can’t wait to become a parent with Lou by my side.

We inherited the house Jenn grew up in. Jenn has always loved this house. Her favorite rooms are the library and our entertainment room. We love Lord of the Rings and Star Wars and our entertainment room really reflects this. Since Disney is where we met, we love anything Disney and we have models of the monorail, the Haunted Mansion and the Lego Magic Kingdom castle. We enjoy putting together Legos and crafting and look forward to sharing that.

We have a strong network of diverse friends. Even though our families live across the country we talk with them daily. We live near Washington, DC and enjoy visiting. Lou was a history major in college and Jenn’s focus was on dance history so we enjoy going to museums, historical sites and national parks.

Lou's family is constantly growing both in size and support. They are always accepting of new additions and can’t wait to welcome our future child into the family. He has 6 sisters and 3 brothers. He’s very close with them and not a day goes by that he doesn’t text, talk or video chat with them. We have about 20 nephews and nieces. The oldest is 30 and the youngest is under a year. Jenn is close with Lou’s sisters and they call each other sisters as well. Jenn and Lou are close to Lou’s oldest brother and often call him for advice. Most of Lou’s family live in Oregon, but one sister lives in Montana and another brother lives in upstate New York.

Jenn's Family: Jenn has 1 brother who lives in San Diego. She has always wanted to be a part of a big family and got her wish when she met and married Lou.

We have a close circle of friends that we often refer to as our “Logical Family.” This is the family that has helped fill our lives with love and support. Our friends are our village since none of our family is local. We take care of each other and our friend’s children. When both of our father’s passed our friends sent food and took off work to support us and help with arrangements. Your child will have so much love and support with our circle of friends and family.

We promise to give your child a life of love & support as well as adventure and fun. We hope that you will have a place in their life and that they can have a personal relationship with you.
