Hello from Denver, Colorado! I'm Emily along with my dog, Mia.
Dear Birth Mother...
Why Adoption
I want more than anything to be a mom. As a single woman, my dream of being a parent has never wavered. I have been committed to working hard my whole life solidifying the financial strength, desired balance, integrity and values to support a family independently. I was given a beautiful childhood and wish to carry that forward.
I have built an incredible foundation with stability, flexibility in working remote as a seasoned executive and the most inspiring friends and family at the root. I own two homes each fit for children with their own dynamic community of people who will empower us, support us and encourage us. I see this next chapter of my life committed to your child’s well-being, happiness, and exposure to all life and the world has to offer.
About Me
I consider myself a collector of experiences. I have accepted new and unexpected opportunities leading me down a path perhaps less traveled. A native of Colorado, I went to Arizona for college then jetted off to New York for my budding career. I was the small-town go-getter mesmerized by the big city. I remember the vibrancy and culture. Standouts include working with the cast & crew of All My Children at Atlantis in the Bahamas and being a contestant in the Miss New York USA pageant. I laugh thinking I drank Starbucks chocolate milk with whip cream every morning, a habit to wake up with joy for the workday after waitressing nights at a fondue and martini hot spot. Even funnier to me that I continued to enjoy that sugary staple a decade later when I was recruited to beautiful Santa Monica, California for a short stint in my career.
While I've graduated to finer things like coffee, so much of that motivation, spontaneity, and zest for life shape me today.

Hobbies & Interests
I’m strategic and analytical at work but I’d say I’m creative and artsy in life – whether it be painting, decorating, collecting art, designing for a home project or a custom cookie. Cooking brings me joy and I thrive on hosting and entertaining. I’ll jump at any chance to curate a special occasion or plan a fun theme for any type of celebration.
I love a night in as much as the nights out by curling up near candlelight in my comfies with my pup to enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal, takeout or make it a popcorn for dinner kind of night. I relate to being the fashionista to the girl chilling in her sweats and ponytail.
I see your child and I doing all the things- Traveling, exploring, laughing, singing, dancing, camping, playing in tree-houses, splashing around at our pool and more.
I love to walk or hike and explore. You’ll see I am that person that smiles at every child and dog I walk by. In Denver, I walk across the bridge to tree-lined trails along the creek, tennis and pickle ball courts, parks, boutique and established shops and restaurants. I enjoy my fair share of sushi and fancy coffees and splurge on SoulCycle classes. I’ve dolled up for the Denver Derby Party, Barn Dance, and charitable galas over the years.
The Sweetest, Most Spirited Pup - Meet Mia
She adapts well from urban living to mountain dog and has the fashion to prove it. Mia is super social. We love our morning and evening walks together and she’s always up for any activity with her mama. I embrace a motherly role when it comes to her and am lucky to have her unconditional pup love. Mia will be the best playmate and protector of your child.

My Dreams...
A dream of mine is to be able to travel and experience new cultures with my future child.
I cherished visiting Bergen in Norway which inspired the setting for the Disney movie Frozen and felt like a princess attending a family friend’s wedding at a grand chateau in the Normandy region of France a few years back. So many awe-inspiring things for us to do and see in the world.
I’m inspired by the curated vacations and spur of the moment getaways I may offer your child whether it be sharing in the places I’ve lived and been or experiencing new iconic cities, secluded beaches and worldly treasures together.
I always feel invigorated when I go back to NYC and light up with the idea of seeing it through the eyes of your child with Broadway shows, Central Park Zoo and John’s of Bleeker Pizza.
My Home
Residing coast-to-coast and through all my travels, there’s no place like home and home for me is family which led me back to Colorado where I am proud to own my two idyllic homes to raise your child.
Both offer a pacesetting playground to expose your child to a variety of opportunities and activities. Denver an active cosmopolitan city and “the village” a serene, real version of a magical destination you’d find in a hallmark series.
My parents had me and my sister retreating to the mountains, camping and on the water before we could walk. Kayaking, boating, stand-up paddle boarding and RV-glamping are my all-time favorite past times, so it felt fitting that my second home be a quintessential lake house up in the mountains.
I am lucky my community has exceptional education options. I plan to see which home best meets the needs and interests of your child. I will adapt if that changes over time. It's exciting to be immersed in areas that offer variety so your child may gravitate toward those activities that allow them to shine.
My sister and her family live in Hawaii, which will be our island home away from home. I imagine and know we'll spend plenty of time out there so your child may be close to their cousins. They also have a second home in our mountain village where we will share in summers, holidays and more. It's awesome that they'll all be only a few years apart to play and grow up together since my nephews are five and three.
My Loved Ones
Your child will be beyond loved. My parents are nearby, and very involved in our life. I strive to be as active, fit and full of adventure as them when I'm retired. Children are genuinely drawn to them and their unconditional love. Nana the all-encompassing nurturer and kindred spirit and Grandpa Bob the ultimate playmate and confidant.
My sister Elissa, her significant other Erik, and my nephews Silas Kai and Riggs Nahele are eager to help their “YumYum” (that’s me, aka Auntie Em) welcome your baby into the family. I am also known as “Momily”, a title I wear proudly that a friend’s daughters Graysen and Elliott named me when they started to talk since I have been around them since they were born. We have my aunt and uncle and cousins with their families all having young children ranging from two to thirteen nearby. Other dear friends live down the street with their twins who turned four.
What My Family Says About Me
“Emily embraces life to its fullest. When she commits to something she makes it happen and puts her whole heart in. We believe she loves life, her life and tackles it with strength of character and positivity. It all started with the birth of her sister. She took her job as “Big Sister” seriously. To this day she and her sister have a strong, beautiful bond. Emily is an affectionate and fun mom to her dog Mia. No matter personally or professionally, she treats everyone and everything with respect and care. As her parents she is very involved in our lives. She reaches out to us almost daily to catch up and share her day with us. We know she will be an incredible mom and embrace motherhood in the same way. It just is who she is. Emily makes us proud every day! Furthermore, the bond between grandparents and a grandchild is so special. We are excited to welcome your child into our family. We will always be there to give them unconditional love and guidance.” - Emily's parents
“I have the privilege of being Emily’s baby sister. We are 4 1/2 years apart so we spent most of my childhood together, but in my eyes she was always significantly older. Growing up she was my role model. A straight “A” student, captain of the cheer squad, phenomenal dancer. There was nothing she couldn’t accomplish if she set her mind to it. Apart from her academic and extra curricular honors she was an extraordinary sister. There is not a day that has gone by in my life that I haven’t felt love and encouragement from my sister. She’s my biggest cheerleader and confidant. There is no better person to raise your child for she’s been preparing for motherhood since the day I came home from the hospital. No one will love, protect, encourage and create a happier childhood for your baby than my sister. She is the one you want.” - Emily's sister
On Parenting
I am invested in the simple joys of our daily routine and turning the ordinary into extraordinary. Playing make believe while we brush our teeth, building a fort out of the dining table, putting bunny ears on pancakes or speaking in accents at story time. Challenging myself to find fun in potty training. I live for holidays, birthdays and how to make a random Tuesday special. I thrive on creating new traditions and sharing old ones.
Children deserve to feel safe, innocent, carefree and open to self-expression. I wish a balance for your child to comfortably be exposed to diversity and other walks of life through our community and travels. Whether drawn to the arts, sports, science, outdoors, reality or playing make believe, books of fairytale or history, …whatever it is. I see it in children that so much of who we are, our interests and our personalities are budding in us from day one.. I promise to present them with opportunities that inspire their imagination and fuel their mind and hearts for more.
In Closing
I lead from the heart with logic and intelligence and trust in this journey. First and foremost, I wholeheartedly thank you. I am honored and over the moon to think you have reviewed my profile and may consider me for your child. Imagining such an opportunity brings me genuine happy tears and has me filled with the utmost gratitude and excitement in what comes next.
I will cherish getting to know you so I may share your hopes and dreams as your child grows. I welcome the opportunity to share more and answer questions for us to get to know one another as I recognize how important your decision and how special this journey. You’re remarkable and I wish to offer you reassurance, support, unconditional love and adoration.
Much love,
Emily
