We believe everything happens for a reason. Adoption has always been something we have talked about. Don’s mom was adopted, and we both have adopted cousins from both sides of the family. After trying unsuccessfully to conceive through fertility treatments, we know that we are destined to build our family through adoption.

We met on an online dating site and have been together for 10 years and married for 2. Our love has deepened over time, we’ve learned that we can count on each other, no matter what the challenge is. Through all the years we’ve always known we wanted children, and we are very excited to start a family. Our lives are full of adventure, fun, sports, cooking, enjoying the outdoors, education, celebrating holidays and traveling the world. All sports are welcomed in our homes from baseball, to football, to basketball, and soccer. We are ready and excited to give our unconditional love to a child and expand our family through the miracle of adoption.

Hi! I'm Liz. I have a passion for helping kids and the elderly, as they are those with the most need in our society. Throughout life I have experienced numerous events that have shaped me into becoming the person I am. My childhood was a beautiful experience where my mom, dad, sister, and I spent weekend getaways at the beach, lake, and at my families ranch in Baja California, Mexico. Some of the experiences that have made an impact in my life are traveling the world, going to college, getting married, and spending time with family. I never take my life for granted and live every moment to the fullest. I love to sing, ride horses, play tennis, BBQ, travel, and want to share these adventures as a parent. I'm so excited to become a mom and share all the hugs, giggles, adventures and milestones with our baby.

Liz has been working at Children’s Hospital for 18 years and works with children of all ages. She is a therapist, friend, daughter, and sister. She carries so many hats at the same time and does not shy away from anything. I am certain that she will be an excellent mother and role model. She is carefree and people gravitate to her personality. Her mother is lucky to have such a caring daughter who cherishes the ground she walks on. Her friends love her for her contagious laughter and willingness to have fun. I cherish that she is always by my side and a voice of reason when seeking advice. She is my best friend and everything I could ask for in a partner.

Hi! I'm Don. I love to spend time with my family and friends! Some of my hobbies are gardening, cooking, reading, and traveling. I enjoy spending my free time with Liz and am grateful that she is my wife. I feel that our destiny was to adopt and that adopting a child will be one of the most gratifying experiences of our life. My day job is working as a sales manager for an aerospace distributor in the San Fernando Valley, but I also trade stocks and crypto currency in my free time for additional income. I used to be a chef and can't wait to cook delicious dishes for our growing family.

Our journey has been such a beautiful love story that I love to share it even after 10 years together. From the first moment I saw him at the ice cream parlor with those green eyes and smile, I knew he was the one for me. We got married on a beautiful ranch in Camarillo and our love for each other only keeps getting stronger. Don has many amazing qualities, his sense of humor, his cooking, and he speaks Spanish. We have traveled the world together: places like Europe, Australia, Canada, China, Virgin Islands, and Mexico. We have also traveled to many different states domestically and have had wonderful experiences with our nephews and nieces. I can’t wait for us to explore some more beautiful countries as a family. Don is going to be a good father as he is both a good listener, patient, and loves to play sports with our nephews and nieces.

We live in sunny Mission Hills, CA, 20 minutes away from the beach, mountains, theme parks, and sports stadiums. We also have a vacation home in Arrowhead, CA, where there is a lake, hiking trails, and game room at the mountain getaway.

Arrowhead is one of our favorite places to visit. The weather can go from a perfect 72 degrees to a snowy 29 degrees. We also enjoy Ventura, CA, which is a very tranquil place with great restaurants and activities. The pace of life is slower than Los Angeles which gives us time to unwind and relax on the weekends.

We are fortunate to both come from extended families who live locally, but also in Arizona, Northern California, Texas, Nevada, Washington, Colorado, and Baja CA. Our families are fun, caring, and very approachable. Our families love to sing, dance, and have fun! We have an abundance of cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles who are all very eager to embrace the newest member of the family. Our families are so excited and supportive of our decision to adopt!

We like to host themed gatherings with family and friends. From ugly sweater parties, western theme birthday parties, to sporting events. We love to celebrate holidays, 4th of July, Christmas, Easter, and Halloween are big at our house.

We promise to love your child unconditionally and with every bit of our hearts. We promise to make him or her smile often and show them all the music and magic this beautiful life has to offer. We also promise that the child we raise will know how much they are loved by you. Above all, we promise that the child you entrust to us will have the opportunity to become anything he or she dreams of. They will be safe, secure and loved by our family. No matter where your path leads, please know that we’ll always be grateful for you and wish you and your child the very best.
