Carol is co-founder of International Family Services, dba Adoption Planners, and serves as Executive Director of Adoption Planners, a Texas-based adoption agency licensed to work with families throughout the United States. In addition to being a gifted administrator, Carol loves creating “new futures” in the arena of child advocacy. She has started and directed 11 different adoption/foster agencies in 9 different states. Carol taught for many years in special education and has multiple teaching credentials which she finds invaluable working in adoptions and foster care. Carol and her husband Bob have ten children, four biological kids and six who are adopted. She also has 4 adopted grandchildren. As an adopted child herself raised by her aunt and uncle, Carol dreamed of building an orphanage and helping orphans and marginalized children. As an adult she saw her dreams come true when she had the opportunity of managing the funding of 3 international orphanage building projects, countless other special projects, working in 17 different countries while helping nearly 5000 families and children find each other through adoption.

Gabby is a clinical social worker licensed in Texas and Illinois. She has been an adoption caseworker since 2004 and prides herself on her ability to connect with others and recognizes the importance of personalized adoption plans with an emphasis on details and relationships. Gabby earned her Masters of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin. She is an expert in both agency and direct placement intrastate and interstate domestic adoptions. Gabby is also an experienced adoption counselor who ensures that birth mothers and adoptive parents have confident, tailor-made guidance every step of the way in their adoption journey. She is passionate about making sure that all expectant mothers have access to excellent healthcare and about helping families become parents through the beauty of adoption.
