Hello! We are Madeleine and Alex from West Hollywood, California. We are both appreciative and grateful for your considering us as adoptive parents for your child. This decision is your own - one we applaud and admire - and hope that you feel at peace with the decision upon meeting the perfect future family for your little one. We love our lives - the only thing that would make it better is sharing it with children. Thank you for taking the time to learn about us and whether we fit the image of that perfect family for you and your baby.
Dear Birth Mother
Why Adoption
We decided to adopt because it's the medically safest option for Madeleine. We also feel it's spiritually the right choice for us. After much consideration over the last two years, it feels like this was meant to be!
Our Story
We first bonded over our shared loves of jazz and art during a chance meeting seven years ago. Beyond our common interests, we are fun-loving, playful and even downright goofy at times. After two years of dating, we married in 2019 and have lived a happy, quiet life at home ever since. We enjoy spending our days together and make everything fun - even chores like grocery shopping and washing the laundry! Little adventures also include long walks in the neighborhood, dog spotting, outdoor concerts, golfing, and learning news things at museums and exhibitions.
Hi, I'm Madeleine
I am creative, caring, passionate, resilient and faithful. I grew up in a big loving family where we all learned the value of working hard, supporting each other, and gaining independence. I’ve always cherished creating things - drawing, painting, building, writing, and now cooking. My nature is kind-hearted and compassionate. This now translates to my volunteer work with the elderly and youth in Los Angeles. I love art, baking, romance movies, animals, and nature. My faith guides all that I do and leads me to live a rich and fulfilled life.

Hi, I'm Alex
I am active, enthusiastic, loyal, caring, creative, and thoughtful. I was born to be a fun loving, goofy guy thanks to my twin brother and I was always finding the best ways to entertain ourselves. From a young age I was a competitive swimmer and swam through college. This experience showed me how valuable it is to have supportive parents encouraging one’s interests. Swimming has since helped me embrace exercise and good health as components of my everyday life. My analytical and sometimes-nerdy side, highlighted by my career and educational pursuits, is balanced with my artistic. I enjoy playing the guitar and writing music in my free time. Like Madeleine, I enjoy volunteering and providing mentorship to others.

Home and Community
Our home is warm and welcoming. The tree-lined streets and many close by parks make our neighborhood feel like home. We have fun hosting themed dinners at our place for friends and family featuring Mexican, Japanese, Italian, French or Austrian cuisine, to name a few. Long walks through our neighborhood, including dog and bird spotting, are a daily routine. Movie nights are regular household events complete with popcorn and an assortment of movie theater candy. We have thoughtful neighbors and family within a short walk or drive away.
Our Loved Ones
Madeleine's Family: My mom, dad, two brothers, sister and sibling’s spouses - all live nearby in Southern California. My parents modeled a great marriage and home life for my siblings and I growing up. They still host Sunday night family dinners and all are welcome. I’ve also learned a lot about parenting little ones from my sister’s in law, and taking care of my nieces and nephews.
Alex's Family: I am very close with my twin brother, Tim, who lives in Austin, Texas, and our mother, who lives in Miami, Florida. We regularly exchange regular text messages, calls, and plan visits throughout the year to stay in touch. I also have extended family on both the East and West Coast. Everyone is tight-knit and equally supportive of our plans to adopt. They all look forward to meeting our future child soon!

Our Values
We aspire to raise our child to work hard, have integrity, and overall embody the same core values we grew up with and anchored us throughout our lives. Our faith is also very important to us. We want to introduce our child to art, music, dancing, swimming and home cooked meals, all of which bring us so much joy.
In Closing
We promise to be open with them about your loving decisions and their journey to our home and family. We vow to nurture their interests, invest in their education, and prepare them for all of the highs and lows life inevitably brings. We commit to loving and caring for your child for the rest of our lives. We cannot begin to thank you enough for considering us. Without you, our journey to becoming parents would not be possible.
