Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We’ve been talking about having kids since our second date, and we are excited to start this journey of adoption together. As you get to know us, we think you’ll see we have a lot of love to give and joy to share. We know how important and personal this decision is, and we’re grateful to be considered as adoptive parents for your child.

We have traveled the world together and had many adventures, but nothing is more exciting than realizing our dream to become parents. We want to pass on the values and gifts we received from our own parents and create a loving home for a child who will grow up to be a very special person.

We promise to put your child’s health and happiness above our own, for as long as we live. We promise to make sure they feel loved and accepted every single day. We promise to make sure they get a world-class education, and also have lots of reasons to laugh and smile. We promise that your child will know where they come from and have a relationship with their mother, if that is your wish.

Peter is the most supportive husband anyone could hope for and I know that is going to translate beautifully into being the most supportive Dad. He has a gentle and kind soul. Additionally, he is incredibly smart, and I admire most the way he learns—always willing to have the conversation, see the other side, and venture to change his opinion. I’m sure he will pass on that creativity and curiosity. One of my favorite things about Peter is his writing. He is a true wordsmith and I know every special occasion I will receive a card that is filled with sweetness and love and usually I will tear up. Peter’s family taught him to care about others, and that is why he chose a job that’s all about making a difference.

Peter owns a marketing company that works for non-profit organizations and good cause campaigns. A primary focus in his work is on homelessness and housing in Los Angeles. Because he owns the company, his hours are flexible, and he works from home.

It's almost impossible to be depressed around Blake. He gives off more light and warmth than the California sun that cooked him up. He's always trying to put a smile on someone's face and brighten their day, whether it’s with a well-timed joke, fresh-baked muffin delivery, or just a call to check in. But beneath all that joy, there's a serious and compassionate person who works hard every day for our family and for others. I fell in love with Blake's bright eyes and big smile, but I've come to depend even more on his strength and his heart. His parents did a great job raising their kids and with that blueprint and big heart, I know Blake is going to make a great dad.

Blake has experience in a lot of different industries! First and foremost, he is an actor in both television shows and musicals. He is also passionate about health and fitness, and he empowers others to be their best selves by working as a personal trainer. His schedule is very flexible, which will allow him to take time off to spend with our future child.

With easy access to beaches, mountains, outdoor activities, and even Disneyland, Southern California has a lot going on. We’re excited to raise a child in our quiet residential corner of Los Angeles, one of the most diverse cities in the country, where they can learn about many different cultures, foods, and fun things to do. We have lots of family and friends all over the state, and love to take trips to places like Palm Springs and Lake Tahoe. We’re excited to start a family in this place, with access to good schools, beautiful nature, and a strong network of family support.

Harvey is the most loving little rescue. He doesn’t have many teeth due to childhood illness, but he makes up for it with friendly licks. We’ve had Harvey for three years, ever since he was a puppy. Even though he has two baskets filled with toys, he spends all his time with just one -- a fluffy duck.

We live in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house in the Carthay Square neighborhood of Los Angeles. It is a quiet, safe place with lots of trees and friendly neighbors. We have plenty of space to grow, and a large backyard to play in. Peter’s parents live 20 minutes away and he works from home.

Blake comes from a large and very supportive family who show up when it matters and even when it doesn’t. Peter comes from a diverse, interconnected family of people who put an emphasis on fun and learning. They are all really excited to help us provide a stable and enriching environment for a child. We are blessed to have very supportive families on both sides. We know not every couple can count on that, and we don’t take it for granted.
