Hello! We are Breann, Zack & Olivia from Western Washington. Thank you so much for taking the time to consider us. We admire your strength and courage. We know that this may be an emotional time for you and commend you for choosing adoption. It is a completely selfless act of pure love.

We are choosing to adopt because we want to grow our family, but because of our many miscarriages have been unable to. We also want to give a child in need a loving and supporting home. We have thought a lot about adopting over the last couple of years and are so excited to finally start down this path.

Thank you once again for your consideration and for getting to know us more. We are eternally grateful to you for the chance to make our dreams come true! We promise to love your child with all our hearts!

We met in college, we attended the same church and our apartments were down the block from each other. After noticing each other at various events, Zack asked Breann on a date to a fall hay maze (an activity they’ve turned into a family tradition). Zack’s fun and easy-going personality quickly put Breann’s first date jitters at ease and by the end of the night they were holding hands and sharing hot chocolate like they’d known each other for years. Zack decided that night this was who he would marry. Just a few short months later, and after an entire day of museums, tree climbing, flowers, and lots of laughs and delicious food, Zack surprised Breann with a proposal while they were making dinner together.

We enjoy spending all of our time together with our hilarious and creative daughter Olivia (age 8), and love each other more each day. There’s always something new to discover on our weekly family outings! We like going on walks and hikes as a family, going to the beach, looking for critters outside, canoeing, watching movies, doing puzzles, playing games, reading together, and doing art projects together. We are so excited to share these things with our future child, for whom we have hoped and prayed for the past 6 years. We have experienced multiple miscarriages and because of the physical and emotional strain this has put on Breann, and the rest of our family, we have been led to adoption. We have learned to view these trials as opportunities for growth and they have taught us how to be more compassionate and thankful for our many blessings.

I grew up in Graham, Washington, a small town about an hour south of Seattle. I loved spending the day in Seattle with my family every so often. I have fond memories of us visiting the Space Needle, getting tasty treats from Pike Place market, and shopping in all the unique shops. I loved growing up so close to Mount Rainer, where we would drive up to go sledding almost every winter.

I studied preschool education and child development in college and I loved working as a preschool teacher for 4 years before having Olivia. My education and experience with children have especially helped me as I have I homeschooled Olivia since kindergarten, something we have both been enjoying! Now I am a stay at home mom and I absolutely love it.

Breann is caring. She is always thinking about the next thing she can do for our daughter. This is the number one reason I love her. She spends all day with Olivia, playing, doing crafts, cooking with her, and loves doing it because Olivia is her best friend.

She talks with Olivia, not as an adult to a child, but as friends. I love her because she still feels that she has more mothering to give to another baby. I love her because she is stronger than she knows. She is kind, funny, playful, artistic, loving, patient, nurturing, protective, and a great teacher. All of these qualities make her the best mother in the world, even counting my own mother. She wants nothing more in the entire world than to have another baby that she can love, snuggle, and call her own.

I was born & raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho. My childhood was wonderful. I am the youngest of five children, and we grew up playing outside, building forts, hiking, camping, boating, and reading. I currently work for the state of Washington and have a very open schedule. I work from home a couple of days a week, and the days I go into work I am home before 4:00 PM. My superiors are very lenient with childcare, and I have the flexibility to work from home or work odd hours to help with my family. Most of my free time I spend with Breann and Olivia.

Zack is goofy, sweet, and thoughtful. He is always surprising us with delicious home-cooked meals or plans to take a fun trip somewhere new. He knows how to make us laugh after a hard day and genuinely loves to serve us. I often tease Zack that he may be a better housewife than me because he can make dinner and clean the house faster than I ever can! He is the most fun dad! He will play Barbies, dress-up, and tea party with Olivia for hours. Never has a father adored his child more than Zack adores our Olivia.

Olivia is creative, smart, funny, and beautiful. She loves reading, collecting rocks and seashells, playing in the sand, riding bikes, playing Scooby-Doo or the Mandalorian, anything blue, and is absolutely over the moon about having a little brother or sister with whom she can snuggle and play.

We live in Western Washington. It is a lovely area with a beautiful view of Mount Rainier. Our home is in a quiet neighborhood near lots of parks and other outdoor attractions. We love spending time in the yard gardening, playing in the tree house, and swimming in the pool when it’s hot out. We are blessed to live very near the big city, but also live in a small town near forests, rivers, and mountains, so we get to enjoy the benefits of both. Our weekend activities include going to the zoo, museums, aquariums, movie theaters, and restaurants, but also hiking, beach days, bird watching, and exploring nature.

Breann's Family: I have two loving parents and two younger brothers, who never ceased to make me laugh. I love going back to visit my childhood home, which my parents have turned into a mini farm since I’ve left! Between the dogs, chickens, berry bushes, apple trees, vegetable gardens, campfire, picnic gazebo, treehouse and more, there’s always something to do at “Nana and Papa’s” house!

Zack's Family: My family is large, I have 20 nieces and nephews, and they all like to get together and play all day long. My brothers Jacob and Casey, and my sister Elizabeth all live with their respective families in south eastern Idaho. My brother Benjamin lives in northern Utah. Right now, we usually get to visit them once a year. My parents, Terry and Cathy, live in a cabin in the woods in Island Park which is in south eastern Idaho near Yellowstone National Park. We love going to visit them and enjoy being so close to nature.

We have one pet, our Russian Tortoise, Truman. He is very sweet, gentle, spoiled, and an attention hog. He loves digging, neck rubs, and climbing on rocks and branches. He’s small but fearless! He loves eating treats from your hand, which for him would be lettuces and flowers. When the weather is warm we love playing with him in the backyard and watching him explore and nibble on plants.

Parenting is the most important thing in the world to us. Our greatest joy is raising our daughter, and we feel that we still have more parenting in us. We believe in making our home a safe haven for our children. We believe in teaching them integrity, compassion, hard work, self-confidence, selflessness, and faith. Our parenting philosophy is teach through experience. We give our children opportunities to learn, allow them to make mistakes and help them learn from them. We promise to love our future child unconditionally. We promise to make them laugh as often as possible and be there for them when they cry. We promise to take them on adventures and help them to understand the world and how they fit into it. We are looking forward to having a baby in the home again, something we have longed for for 6 years, and for our daughter to have a little brother or sister she can help take care of and shower with love.
