Hello from Northern California I am Catherine, along with my son, Anthony. I can only imagine what a difficult decision this is for you. If you choose me, your child will know unconditional love and will want for nothing. Anthony and I will welcome your child into our lives with open arms. I love being a mother and it is my greatest wish for Anthony to have a sibling to grow up with and share all the amazing experiences we share together. Thank you for taking the time to consider me as an adoptive parent to your child.

My Story
I’m originally from a small town in Southern Ontario, Canada, but I have lived in the Bay Area in California for the last 17 years.
I grew up with a neighborhood of kids that spent from dawn until dusk playing at each other’s houses and in the nearby park. Many of them remain friends to this day.
After high school, I spent 6 months in Switzerland and traveled across Europe. I then returned to Canada and attended the University of Toronto where I obtained degrees in computer engineering, law, and a Master of Business Administration. After university, I moved to New York City to join a large global law firm.
From there, I took a position as an attorney for Google, where I worked for 16 years rising to the position of Vice President of Legal. I recently took on a new challenge as a Chief Legal Officer at a healthcare company responding to the pandemic and other healthcare crises. I have also spent many wonderful hours volunteering at an organization dedicated to providing homes and care for homeless and vulnerable children around the world.
Although I never married, I knew I wanted to be a mom. After struggling for years with IVF, I was blessed with my son Anthony. The pregnancy was complicated and I have been unable to have a second child. But I have not given up my dream for another child and sibling for Anthony.

- I’ve visited over 50 countries
My Family and Friends
I am part of a small but close-knit family. Although I live far from home, I still speak to my family every day and they visit and stay with Anthony and me often.
My mother is now retired, but she was a longtime high school English teacher and curriculum consultant for the province of Ontario. She is a large part of the reason that Anthony is so fluent and adept at language. My father passed away last year, but fortunately he was able to meet and dearly love little Anthony. My brother is a hard working entrepreneur but always makes time for Anthony!
We celebrate occasions like Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. This year I hosted Christmas at my house and Anthony and I decorated the tree and hung the stockings with care.
I have a large extended family of friends and colleagues who were so generous and supportive when Anthony was born. Your child will be welcomed with open arms into a world filled with “aunts” and “uncles” that cannot wait to spoil them with love and thoughtful gifts from all over the world.
Meet Anthony
I feel like the luckiest and happiest mother in the world because Anthony is such a warm, loving and kind little gentleman. He loves meeting new people and is always willing to share his toys and favorite food with new friends, so I already know he will make a wonderful big brother.
He is big for his age and as sharp as they come - noticing every detail and commenting on everything around him. He loves trucks so naturally, “Big truck” were his first two words. He is generous - he’ll offer you the last bite of his favorite food, insist that you eat it and watch to make sure you enjoy it. He is kind - he’ll comfort another child if he sees someone missing their mother and he’ll offer his favorite toy as consolation. He adores my best friend’s little daughter, and will sit and watch while she is sleeping.
Where We Call Home
Anthony and I live in a lovely five bedroom and six bathroom home with a large, grassy backyard and fenced in pool area.
Our neighborhood is quiet, safe, and very family friendly. Our town is a community with tree-lined streets, well maintained yards, and many parks and recreation opportunities nearby. The area has cultural diversity and residents of all ages, including other young families. It offers various community, holiday, and cultural events throughout the year. Our home is very close to community resources and services including quality medical facilities, parks, and shopping.
Anthony and I can walk to three parks, his doctor’s office, his daycare, and when he is old enough, highly rated elementary and middle schools.
Anthony and I enjoy long walks every morning and our weekend pancakes. I am so excited to share these experiences as a family of three.
