Hi! We are Gloria & Eric from Los Angeles, California. We hope that as you read and see a little bit about us you will see the love we share for each other and our families is strong and embedded in the values we hold dear to us. We have lots of love to share and are so excited to begin the journey of adopting and making our dreams of becoming parents come true. We want to acknowledge your courage, strength and love for choosing the path of adoption because it is the greatest gift you could give a couple like us. We appreciate your time and consideration and hope that we can embark on this journey with you.
Dear Birth Mother
About Us
We met working at the same nonprofit organization in Los Angeles, California. Gloria worked on the finance/accounting side of the nonprofit and Eric worked on the programs side. After working together for several years, we became friends and started to develop feelings for one another. A workplace romance began as we started dating and eventually got married. We bought a quaint house in a quiet community just eight miles from Downtown Los Angeles. We cherish spending our time cooking, going to movies, taking vacations, and being with our families. It is our heartfelt dream to one day adopt a child and share these special moments and our lives with them.
We Will Teach Your Child
- To respect themselves and others
- To laugh and have fun
- Compassion and kindness
- To be independent
- The importance of family, friends, education, and giving back to the community
Our Thoughts on Adoption
We have a loving relationship and always dreamed of extending that to start a family of our own. After years of heartache trying on our own, we spent a lot of time praying and reflecting. We know in our hearts that adoption is the path to fulfill this dream.
Interests & Hobbies
Eric likes to watch sports and being born in Chicago likes the Bears and Cubs but having grown up in Los Angeles likes the Lakers, Kings and Rams. He’s also an English Premiere League soccer fan and follows London-based Tottenham Hotspur. He likes to play golf and go on walks for exercise and wellness. Traveling is a real passion for Eric. In addition to traveling within the United States he’s also traveled internationally to the Philippines, Mexico, England, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Austria. Gloria enjoys creative activities such as painting, sketching, and doing crafts. She loves learning to play the guitar and ukulele and reading about philosophy and wellness. On vacation, she is curious to learn what she can. In Hawaii, she learned to hula and its history and in the United Kingdom she learned about centuries old buildings and castles. With Eric's influence and help, Gloria found the joy of playing golf and especially hitting balls in the driving range.
A Little About Gloria
I am very close to my parents and sister and love spending time with them, enjoying my mom's delicious cooking, meaningful conversations, and watching our favorite TV shows. I treasure special moments with my sister, whether it’s seeing a movie, attending a play like Wicked, or visiting Disneyland. I also enjoy planning parties, painting, and crafting, and I can’t wait to share these traditions and hobbies with my future child.
My Job
As the Controller of a private foundation, I do finance and accounting. I work with a great team who share similar values of bringing overall wellness to the people of California. I love the opportunity to mentor and share lessons learning not just in finance and accounting but also the soft skills that often not learned in the classroom.

A Little About Eric
I love spending time with my mom, sister’s family, cousins, uncles, and aunts. Almost every Sunday, we gather to share a meal, play board or video games, or watch a movie together. I also enjoy playing golf because it lets me spend time outdoors and reflects life’s challenges, teaching me to find solutions and persevere. I can’t wait to become a father and create lasting memories with my future child.
My Job
My career has been an extension of my personal passion to help other people and with a career in the nonprofit and philanthropic sector I have dedicated my life to serving the underserved. Home Sweet Home
We love living in Los Angeles! Our neighborhood is close to downtown and our offices but it also has the charm of a little town where you know your neighbors and often can run into people you know while grocery shopping or enjoying dinner at a local restaurant. We are fortunate to have some really good friends including Eric’s childhood friend who lives around the area. During the summer time we enjoy an afternoon walk around the neighborhood. Each year Eric’s side of the family takes turns in hosting the annual holiday potlucks. We get to host Easter. Gloria love’s planning a get together and gets creative with centerpieces, desserts, and play activities for the kids (including the Easter egg hunt).
Love Makes a Family
We are very close to our families and usually find some time on the weekends to see them.
Gloria: I come from a small, strong, and loving family. My parents have served as role models for me and my younger sister. They have shown us the importance of hard work, determination and family. I enjoy my calls with my mother as I commute to and from work. My sister and I are very close and share a friendship like no other. I look forward to our “Sister Day” outings to Disneyland, to the theatre or a movie. My parents and sister are looking forward to the day they can welcome and love their first grandchild, niece or nephew. I am fortunate to have a circle of friends that I consider my extended family. I have friends from elementary, college and graduate school that I stay in touch with and every so often we enjoy brunch, dinner or a friendly text or call. It is always nice to see them and their extended families and pick up as if no time has gone by.
Eric: I grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles in a modest home with my parents and sister. My mom still lives in that same neighborhood and we spend time going to the same familiar restaurants and places. I regularly watch Jeopardy, my mom’s favorite show with her. I still like to joke with my sister like when growing up together. She is married and has a son and daughter that we love. We enjoy going to their sporting events, dance and music recitals, and the movies. I am also close to my cousins on my mother’s side; we hang out together, eat good food, travel, and play fantasy football and golf. We also have an annual holiday Secret Santa where we give a special gift to one another.
While many of my friends live across the county and have busy lives, we will find time to attend birthday parties, schedule dinners, or play a round of golf. During the holidays, my high school friends travel from around the country back to Los Angeles where we get together to have lunch and play a trivia game. The family who wins gets to keep a framed picture of the movie The Breakfast Club for the year as a trophy. Together, we also pick a charity and make a financial contribution as a holiday gift.
Our Promise to You
We promise to teach your child the importance of family, friends and giving back to the community. We promise to provide them with a strong education and encourage them to explore areas of interest whether it be sports, arts or music. We will teach your child to have fun and to trust their heart when faced with tough decisions because we will be there for support. We look forward to the day when we become parents and begin to share our love, pass down old family traditions, and also create new traditions.
A Special Message to You
We thank you for the time you have taken to get to know a little bit about us. We know your decision will be guided by love. We hope to be the lucky chosen couple to be the parents of your child.
