Thank you for considering us as adoptive parents. We are Andrew & Kelly along with our two sons, Henry and Kyle from Northern California. We are high school sweethearts who have been together for nearly 22 years! If chosen as your child’s adoptive parents, we promise to dedicate our lives to giving them the best life possible. We can only imagine what a difficult decision this must be for you, but we want you to know that we deeply admire your courage, strength, and the love that you have for your child in considering an adoption plan.

We met in high school at a friend's house and hit it off right away. We bonded over our shared love of sports, MTV and Taco Bell. The timing was perfect because prom was right around the corner so Andrew asked Kelly to go with him. On prom night Andrew pulled out all the stops including showing off his “super sweet dance moves” Kelly laughed and danced the night away right with him.

Needless to say it worked, we married in 2010 and have been more in love ever since.

What makes our marriage strong is our shared values of honesty, respect and kindness. We don't sweat the small stuff and we make each other laugh. We traveled the world together for 10 years while Andrew played professional soccer. After he retired we moved back home so that we could raise our kids near family, which is what we are happily doing now!

We always knew that we wanted to be parents and grow our family through adoption. Our hope is to have three kids which for us would give us the full house that we’ve always dreamed of. Our two sons, Henry and Kyle, are so kind to one another and will make the best big brothers. We also chose adoption because it allows us to get to know you. We have so much love to give and are ready to spoil and cherish this little one forever.

Our family loves to explore and spend time together outdoors. Whether we’re hiking with our dog, boogie boarding at the beach, or playing Frisbee by the pool, being active and enjoying nature is a big part of our lives. Our annual trip to Hawaii with the whole family is something we look forward to every year. We believe that traveling and experiencing new places is incredibly enriching for our kids. It opens their eyes to different cultures and ways of life, helping them grow into curious and open-minded individuals.

Our kids are very active and enjoy a variety of activities. Kyle our younger son, looks up to his big brother and often chooses the same activities to be just like him. They both play competitive soccer year round, dance hip hop, play flag football and love surfing.

We love the holidays and celebrate each one a month at a time. We decorate the entire house both inside and out. For Halloween we watch movie marathons, The Nightmare Before Christmas is our favorite. For Christmas dinner we have a large family party with a dress up theme, this year was plaid!

Hi, I'm Kelly. I was born and raised in California. I grew up spending a lot of time outside and played as many sports as I could. I was raised by the most loving parents and have an older sister who I am very close with. I graduated from UC Davis with a design degree and was fortunate enough to have a fulfilling career in the fashion industry and later in real estate. I became a stay at home mom when Henry was born and plan to stay home until all the kiddos leave for college.

I absolutely love being a stay at home mom because I get to be around for all the little moments. Whether it’s an extra long hug before school or helping them with homework, being apart of their everyday lives fills me with happiness.

I am very passionate about animal rescue and spend a lot time at our local animal shelter. We often have rescue puppies at the house - the kids love it! I would describe myself as very nurturing person and I strive to bring kindness into my everyday life.

Kelly is an incredible mom who brings so much warmth and kindness into our lives. Our kids can always count on her to be at every school function and game cheering them on. She is deeply supportive and has the biggest heart.

At the animal shelter she specializes in "shy dogs" who are afraid of people because of her calm and patient demeanor, it's amazing how she can turn them around. She also loves coming up with fun family activities like Tie-Dye night or a living room obstacle course that even the adults like to try! She creates such a positive and joyful atmosphere at home that I can’t wait to come home from work every day.

I was born in Florida and also lived in Georgia before moving to California when I was 10. At 5 years old I decided I wanted to be a professional soccer player and was lucky enough to fulfill that dream for 10 years. I attended Cal University on a soccer scholarship where I majored in legal studies. When I retired from soccer I became a real estate developer where I work with a team to build large projects. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule allowing me to prioritize family. I consider myself to be a pretty laid back guy and enjoy BBQing for my friends and family. I play on a basketball team with Kelly’s cousin and uncle and still play soccer with the kids everyday. Being a dad means everything to me and I value the time I get to spend with my family. The experiences from my soccer career have taught me the importance of teamwork and perseverance, values that I try to carry with me everyday. I feel full of gratitude for the experiences I have had and the family and friends that surround me.

Andrew is funny, dependable, honest and a lot of fun to be around. He has a great laugh and an infectious personality that makes everyone feel right at home. Watching Andrew become a father has been one of the greatest joys of my life. He is so patient and very loving. Whenever the kids are sick he will stay with them, reading stories, watching their favorite movies or just being present as a source of comfort. He enjoys riding bikes with them around the neighborhood and taking them out for Slurpees on the weekend.

What I love most about him is his ability to be in the moment with us. He always gives the best of himself to his family and I am more in love with him today than I was yesterday.

I would be remiss not to mention that he gives the world’s best hugs.

We live in the foothills of the Santa Cruz mountains. It is a small town with a big community and some of the best public schools in the state. It is a safe and beautiful area filled with lush greenery, hiking trails and fruit orchards. We have the convenience of living next to big cities while still maintaining that small town charm. We have a 4 bedroom 2 story house with a large yard and playroom. We spend a lot of time in our backyard playing games, jumping on the trampoline or just hanging out. We live within walking distance to the school, ice cream shop and parks. We also have a national park just down the road where the kids like to fish and attend summer camp. However, our favorite thing about our town is that our family lives here too! There is always a cousin to play with or an impromptu family dinner.

Nearby: Santa Cruz Beach, San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, Napa Valley

Henry has the biggest heart. He cares deeply for others both human and animal a like. He once spent 2 hours after school rescuing a baby squirrel who had fallen behind a fence. He loves to swim and read graphic novels, his favorite series is Pokemon.

Kyle is very mature for his age and loves to build things with his dad. His favorite activity is going to Home Depot and fixing things around the house. He drew a picture at school of his new baby sibling and shared all the activities he would teach them. Kyle adores his big brother and can’t wait to be one too!

From Henry: “I am so excited for a new sibling I will teach you how to read and will always look out for you.”
From Kyle: “I have many soccer tricks that I am going to teach you. I wish I could meet you soon!”

We rescued Rocky from an animal shelter when we lived in Philadelphia. We were walking past a row of stacked cages when all of a sudden Kelly felt something touching her arm. Rocky had smushed himself against the cage and reached his paw out as far as he could to get our attention. We knew then he had chosen us and we took him home that day. He is the best little guy, so sweet and friendly and very chill. We call him our “cat dog” because he just loves to lounge.

Our immediate and extended families all live close by. As high school sweethearts, our parents often reminisce about watching us grow up together. They treat us both like their own kids and we are all very close. Andrew's family is very warm and they love to laugh. Whenever we go to his mom’s house she will drop whatever she is doing, rush to the door and pull us in for a big hug. Kelly's family is loud and full of big personalities. They like getting together in large groups and enjoy a big Sunday dinner on the weekends. There are so many kids! All of the little cousins are close like siblings and many attend the same schools and play on the same sports teams.

Amongst our two families we have an awesome blend of different cultures and backgrounds. We love this diversity as it brings a variety of fun and super great food to our family meals and gatherings. Our diverse heritage not only enriches our lives but also creates a loving and supportive environment where everyone is embraced and valued. We are excited to share this joyful and inclusive family atmosphere with your child and to continue growing together in love and unity.
