Hello! Thank you for taking time to get to know me. I’m not completely sure how to fully express my gratitude to you for considering adoption and for considering blessing me with the incredible gift of becoming a mother. I have waited for this for a very long time! I can promise you I will never take your decision for granted and I will always love, cherish and care for your child. Ideally, I would love for us to have an open adoption as it would be great to have you in your child’s life.

A Little About Me
I was born and raised in former Czechoslovakia. My family still lives in Europe. My vacations are usually going back to Slovakia and spending time creating new memories with my parents and my siblings. Before I relocated to the U. S, I finished my university studies with a master's degree in social work. I was determined to learn English before settling down with my professional life. Throughout an international live-in nanny agency, I was paired up with a wonderful family in California. I was fortunate to live and work in Canada as well, where cold winters became one of my cherished pastimes with skating on a frozen river and enjoying hockey games. I enjoy gardening, creating handmade postcards, practicing yoga, watching funny movies, and spending time with my family. I have a pretty solid but not rigorous spiritual practice. My family, ability to provide for myself, and work are the most important components of me.
My Career
I studied social work in Slovakia and was lucky to continue this professional path until now. I have worked at various settings from community to governmental. My Current workplace allows me to have a 4 day work week which opens up opportunities to spend more time at home.
My Interests
I love being active and I really enjoy running marathons. One of my favorite memories is completing a marathon with my older brother. One year, we decided to run in Prague and it was just so wonderful having our parents, my brother’s family and our younger brother cheering us on by the finish line.
My parents have a big garden and growing up we always had a vegetable plot. I still love gardening and spending time in nature. As a child, I have font memories of walking through the garden and snacking on raspberries, plums and other goodies. But spending time with my family, people who love me and I love them is my favorite.
More About Me
As a family, were lucky enough in recent years to share a few international trips. My mom is an excellent cook, and was always inspired to create delicious foods. It is impossible to get close to my mom’s level of cooking, but I feel pretty good about my latest creation of the cabbage soup or the zucchini pasta dish.

My Home and Community
Being on the top floor of a three-floor building with doors leading to a common garden area, this space creates the illusion of flying. Currently, I live in a beautiful Victorian apartment in the city. I enjoy having friends over sharing meals, having a game night, laughing and having fun. This apartment has spacious open rooms. My favorite place in the house is the sunroom, which is adjacent to the kitchen.
My current place is short walk from a park and community gardens with a beautiful panoramic view of the city. As the city itself offers two beautiful beaches with a 3 mile long park close by. Lands End Trail hike makes one feel like touching the skies. North of the city brings many hike opportunities with Muir Woods being the most desired. There are also great schools in the area and my neighborhood is very family oriented.
A Little About My Family
I have two brothers and I am the middle child. I’m grateful beyond words for how close we are. My brothers live in Europe, and even though we do not see each other often, we talk to each other frequently. Just recently, we decided to invest as siblings in a holiday cottage getaway. It fills my heart with happiness to know we have each other. My brothers are always there for me. My sister-in-law and my younger brother’s fiancee are sisters I never had. Before Covid related traveling restrictions, they visited for ten days, and we had a blast.
I was always very close with my cousin and her husband, the parents of my godchildren. My favorite person in my family is my father. He showed me from an early age what being loved means. We are very close, and it is just so beautiful to be around him and observe how he tends to his farm animals or any chore he is doing. My mom has my back 100%. I admire her dedication to our family, her hard work, and how she allows others to shine. I’m truly blessed with my family! They are all so excited about my decision to adopt and they can’t wait to shower your child with love.
