Hello! We are Maral, Ray & Ayden from Los Angeles, California. We hope that you feel the love we have to share with everyone around us. Through this beautiful gift of adoption, we will be able to share our love with your child. First and foremost, we want to thank you for considering us. We like to express our deepest gratitude to you. We admire your love, courage, and selflessness through this process.

We originally started our adoption journey without having other children, however we have been blessed with adopting our nephew Ayden after losing his parents and can’t imagine our lives without him. Although we are unable to have biological children, our hearts are filled with the desire grow our family through adoption. We are grateful that the universe has crossed our paths and because of your strength, we have an opportunity to build the family we have been dreaming of.

We met 11 years ago first through community service at our local cultural center where we would volunteer to feed the community. Afterwards, a group of us, would gather at a friend’s house to play karaoke and games. Two years later, we started dating and our story began. We knew right from the beginning that we were going to be together for the rest of our lives.

Our Proposal Written by Maral: Ten months later, on my birthday, Ray surprised me with a skydiving adventure. Right before we jumped, Ray proposed to me 13,000 feet up in the sky. Ray landed first, and when I arrived, he was down on one knee asking me to be his wife.

After a year, we bought our first house together. We imagined our family growing in this house. We always knew we wanted a big family, so we started trying right away. Unfortunately, after trying for six years, we learned that we were not able to carry a biological child, and we discovered this beautiful gift of adoption.

It is important to us that your child see the world and experience all the adventures that we have. We love to travel a few times a year and see new places.

I grew up in Los Angeles, California. My childhood was spent playing outdoors with my brother and all the neighborhood kids. When I was 12 years old, my little sister was born. I was so happy because I became an older sister and mother-like figure in her life.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Cal State University, Northridge. I went into the dental field and discovered my passion for helping people to have beautiful smiles.
Growing up, I always loved to cook and bake. So, I finally decided to pursue my passion and signed up for culinary school. After I received my degree, I decided to open my own baking business from home which gives me the flexibility to work and have time with my family and friends.

I believe life should be fun and I loved gaining all these experiences through my passions. I look forward to sharing my love for the world with my future children and having them experience different cultures through food and adventure.

Maral's fun & youthful spirit along with her desire to pass down everything she has learned are why she's an amazing mother! Maral is one of the most adventurous people I have met. Nothing is too hard or too difficult for her. People are drawn to her calm personality and her creative thoughtfulness. Everyone wants to be around Maral because she can make anyone laugh. She is easy to talk to because she truly listens from the heart. Her love for you shows through her cooking and baking. It is the best feeling when I come home, our lights are on, and the house smells of home cooking and baking. When the holidays come around, she loves to decorate with Ayden. She brings so much joy and love to our home.

I was 16 years old when my mom and I moved to Los Angeles from New York. I was blessed to be raised by such a strong, resilient, and ambitious woman. She sacrificed so much to give me the best upbringing. I went to high school in Los Angeles and made so many wonderful friends who are now like a family to me. All my extended family live in Northern California, and we visit them a few times a year.

I loved everything that had to do with cars and got into the automotive business. I went to the UCLA and received a degree in business management. Now, I am a general manager for the biggest collision repair company in the world. I am lucky to work for a company that offers flexibility in my work schedule and values the balance between work and family.

After work, I love playing soccer or basketball in the back yard with Ayden and enjoying family diners together. I look forward to watching my favorite movies, family adventures, and raising our children to have the same values I grew up with - being of service to others and having an open heart no matter what life throws at you.

Ray is one of the most caring and hardworking people I know. He is such a kind and patient man and a great role model for Ayden. Day in and day out, Ray works tirelessly to provide for our family and to build a comfortable life for us. He is goal-oriented and a hard worker which allows him to be successful in everything he does.

He makes everyone feel comfortable and happy. Kids always gravitate towards him because of his playful and gentle demeanor. He loves spending time with Ayden and showing him new adventures every day. After 12 years together, he still makes me laugh and smile every day. He truly is my best friend and I can’t wait for our family to continue growing.

Ayden joined our family through adoption. He is Maral’s biological nephew. Unfortunately, Ayden lost his mother at a very young age and we were blessed with being able to adopt him.

Ayden is an energetic 7-year-old! He is funny, smart, sensitive, and strong. He loves playing the piano, practicing martial arts, jumping on his trampoline, or being a jokester to make everyone laugh. He loves walking around the neighborhood or riding his bike at the park. Ayden is really good at spelling and math in school. He is going to be an awesome big brother and can’t wait to have a little brother or sister to play with.

We live in a three-bedroom house in a suburb of Los Angeles, CA. We have a big backyard filled with fruits and vegetables, a trampoline, basketball court, and soccer nets.

We live in a wonderful community! We have plenty of neighbors with children, who are always knocking on our door to play. Most of our neighbors have kids ranging from 2 to 8 years old, so there are lots of friends to play with!

Our families live close by so that we can be in each other’s lives, and they can be a part of our future children’s lives. We spend most weekends together. We love having Sunday brunch, everyone meeting at the beach to ride bikes, or getting together to play cards. Maral’s parents, Sorina and Ted, and her sister Ashley live 15 minutes from our house and we see them weekly.

Ray’s mom is 93 years old and lives very close to us. She is super independent and is still able to live on her own. We see her almost every day. She can’t wait to see us grow our family.

Since we both have big extended families, we take turns and alternate our Christmas and Thanksgiving celebrations with our families in Los Angeles and San Francisco. These gatherings are typically filled with food until your bellies hurt and lots of children running around.

We promise to give your child unconditional love so that they always know and feel that they are loved and supported. We will work hard to provide the best for them from education to opportunities in life.
