Hi! We are Matt & Michael from Dallas, Texas. We are so grateful that you are considering us to be your child’s adoptive parents and can’t wait to get to know you more. We know your decision is exceptionally important, and we promise to fill your child’s life with unconditional love, boundless joy, and abundant support. We both come from family-oriented backgrounds and have always dreamt of becoming parents. We hope that with this profile, you can get a sense of how much love and stability surround us through our family and friends.

We appreciate your courageous decision to choose adoption and are thankful that you are considering us as an adoptive family to your child.

Our story begins with a school tour, when we were both looking at MBA graduate programs. Michael vividly remembers talking to the only guy who knew about Duke basketball, while Matt remains grateful that he knew enough basketball stats to pique Michael’s interest. We have been best friends ever since.

Over the years and many adventures we grew closer, and shortly after graduation we realized that we had fallen in love. We decided to put roots down in Dallas, buying a home and getting married in our own backyard surrounded by our closest family and friends. The same home where we plan to raise children. We cannot wait for a future of cozy bedtime stories, hot cocoa during the holidays, family vacations, kitchen dance parties, and a lot of joy and laughter.

I grew up in a blended family in a small Southeast Texas town with two wonderful sets of parents who provided so much love, support, and guidance. My extended family all live nearby and I spent most weekends surrounded by tons of aunts, uncles, and cousins. I often spent time with my cousins playing video games, pretending to be Power Rangers, and tossing a football. I attended Texas A&M for undergrad, where I made lifelong friends. I’m obsessed with A&M football, and still enjoy going to games and getting the friends and family together for tailgating. I’m very close to my parents and extended family and I’m excited to start a family of my own to fit right in with my large family.

I now work in marketing and get to exercise my creative muscles by developing commercials that play nationwide. I have a flexible work schedule and my company offers 3 months parental leave that will allow me to spend some great quality time with the new baby.

Michael’s laughter is what first drew me in, and it’s his compassion, kindness, and lightheartedness that got me hooked. He is such a joyful person that you can’t help but want to spend more time with him. Michael does an amazing job of finding common ground with anyone and can talk about anything from college football to the real housewives.

I’ve especially enjoyed seeing what a wonderful father Michael will be, when I watch him spend time with his friends’ and cousins’ kids. The kids are always thrilled to see him, and Michael is an attentive listener when the kids are telling their stories and plays his role to perfection when joining their make-believe games. I am so excited to be building a family with Michael.

I grew up in a family of six, with my parents, two brothers and a sister, in a town just outside of Boston, Massachusetts. We always had something going on at the house, whether it was playing soccer with my siblings, hosting extended family for cookouts, or playing lawn games with our friends/neighbors. I had a childhood enriched by loving family and friends. We also had Sunday family movie night when we’d order pizza and scramble for the most comfortable spot to watch a movie. Family movie night is a tradition I would love to continue with my own family.

I work from home as a product manager at a tech company. My work schedule is 9-5 and very flexible, so I will always be close by if needed. I plan to spend the first three months at home caring for the new baby.

From the moment I met Matt, I could see that he is incredibly smart, witty, thoughtful, and fun. He’s always present which makes people feel listened to and cared for. Matt surrounds himself with friends and family, and he has a curiosity and thirst for knowledge that always amazes me. These are some of the qualities that made me fall in love with him.

I really enjoy watching Matt play with our friends’ kids and newborn babies. My best friends have young children and they love playing with Matt when we visit. They can always count on Matt to join in on their games, lead them around the back yard or sit down and watch endless episodes of Bluey with them. I know Matt will be an amazing father and I am so lucky to be on this life journey with him.

We live in a safe, ethnically diverse, historic Dallas neighborhood with great schools just around the corner. Our neighborhood has a wonderful community feel and we recently joined the local board that organizes volunteer events to keep the neighborhood clean, beautiful and fun for all families.

We both come from really large extended families with lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins. But our family nucleus is very close and we spend a lot of time together. Our families are extremely excited about the first grandchild and there’s no doubt that our new baby will be spoiled with love (and gifts) from the grandparents.

We are lucky to live near a group of close friends who also have young children. We love getting together with our friends for concerts at the arboretum, pickleball games, friendsgiving, and Superbowl parties. Your child will grow up in a caring and loving community with a group of children their own age ready to go on adventures to libraries, playgrounds, zoos, and football games.
