Hello! We are Michael and Michael (aka the Michaels by our loved ones) from Boxford, Massachusetts. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us more through our profile. We started our relationship in March of 2020 and got married in December of 2023. From the very beginning of our relationship, we have dreamed of building a family together.

Family and friends are the center of our lives and we want nothing more than a family of our own. We appreciate your courage and willingness to find a loving family and future home for your child. In addition to the two of us, we are fortunate to have a large and loving extended family. These extraordinary people will not only support us throughout the process, but also share this amazing adventure with us.

As a same sex couple, we always knew adoption was our preferred avenue for a family. We are extremely excited about the opportunity to adopt your child. We opted for adoption rather than surrogacy because we know we can provide unconditional love to your child. We strongly believe that a family does not need to be defined by a bloodline. Our future child will be as much a part of this family as any other member of the family. From cousins to grandparents, your child will be part of a tight-knit and loving family. We are filled with so much gratitude to have this opportunity to provide your child a loving and caring home. We are a family built on traditions and are excited to share these with our child. From Easter egg hunts in the spring, summer vacations with the extended family, filling pumpkin bags with leaves in the fall, and Christmas festivities, we want to share all of these moments with your child and build a lifetime of memories.

We have been together since March of 2020, days before the full outbreak of the Covid-19 Pandemic. We navigated this time together despite the challenges. In November of 2020, we moved in together and quickly knew we were committed to one another. In 2021, we both experienced major (and exciting!) career changes with new jobs that have significantly advanced our careers in multiple ways. In addition to exciting career advancement, these changes also motivated us to move closer to our work and we successfully navigated the sale and purchase of our new home. We are thrilled for this home to become the heart of our family. It has plenty of land for our future child to have epic adventures, including apple picking in our small apple orchard. In December of 2023, we were married at our dream winter wedding on the ocean surrounded by nearly 200 exceptional friends and supportive family members. Our day to day now consists of getting settled into our new home and building a life for our growing family.

Everything we have done in recent years and will continue to do is for our future child.

Hello! I'm Michael I. I grew up with loving parents and an older sister and younger brother. Family values were always instilled in me from my earliest years. We spent weekends visiting grandparents and playing with friends and cousins. We were always taught to never forget where we came from. The majority of my family is of Italian decent, so needless to say family gatherings involved a lot of food. I love to entertain, cook, and bake. I share much of my love for others through coming together and sharing a meal. A home is also important to me. I like it to be a reflection of the family that dwells within its walls. The majority of my free time consists of spending hours with my parents, my siblings and my 3 nephews, and 1 niece.

I work in admission at a small college. As the son of two educators, learning was instilled as a value from kindergarten through college. I take great pleasure in helping students attend a college that offers a supportive community and prepares them for their chosen field of work. I promise to provide my own child with an education pathway that best fits their interests.

I have always said, if Michael had a super power it would be the power of giving. He is the most selfless person you will find, he is always putting other needs before his own. So it may not come as a surprise that his favorite holiday is Christmas, he loves the seasonal decorating, treats and lights. Typically you will find Michael in the kitchen more than any room in the house, with his love for cooking and baking I have really got myself a keeper. His staff and family don't mind reaping the benefits of his hobbies as well.

Michael has 3 nephews and 1 niece and any chance he can he will spoil them. The kids are always thrilled to see him. Michael is a baby magnet, he has a deep rooted paternal instinct, and was born to have a family. I know Michael will be an excellent father and I am lucky to be on this journey with him.

Hi there! I'm Michael S. I grew up in a small New England town with two supportive parents and one older sister. My parents, sister, and I are still close and we are all excited to add a new member to the family. My sister has 3 boys who are so much fun. I enjoy spending time with them whether it be throwing a football or playing silly games. They are thrilled at the idea of having a cousin to join in on the fun. I am an Architect, which has been my dream job for as long as I can remember. What excites me most about my job is that it gives me a creative outlet. I have had the opportunity to design a variety of spaces for people to learn, live, create, and play, including children’s libraries, laboratories, and residential spaces. Outside of work, my favorite hobbies include CrossFit and powerlifting. I enjoy the community aspect of the gym and making friends with similar wellness interests. I love adventure and dream of providing a safe and supportive environment for my future child to explore their own interests and discover what excites them. I promise to always support them in their endeavors and to make sure they have a lot of fun along the way. I believe life is best when it includes a daily dose of humor and laughter, the perfect backdrop for a childhood in a loving home.

Michael is my biggest supporter. He consistently supports me in all that I do. I oftentimes have to pinch myself because it's hard to believe I found a partner that is such a perfect fit for me. I knew he was the right one for me when he always allowed me to be my true self. He applauds any success and supports me through trying times. He will be outside with me on a cold December night to hang Christmas lights and wreaths (even though he would love to relax on the couch). He wants to make me happy, something I know he would want to offer to our child.

Michael's sense of humor is infectious. He has the ability to light up the room with his jokes and joyful laughter. The first to notice this quality are children. They are drawn to Michael, especially our nephews and niece. He is the first to kneel down or lay on the floor to build with legos or play a game. He acknowledges them, makes sure they know they are valued, and brings out the best laughs and giggles.

We both support the value of your child being who they truly are. We want to support them in any and all ways possible. We promise to celebrate their success and support them through challenging times. We promise that they will never be alone because we have a strong support network around us with so many loving friends and family members. We know their cousins will become their friends and they will have loving aunts and uncles that act like secondary parents by being strong role models.

Propelled by our job changes, we spent nearly 14 months looking for a new home that would not only work for our current situation, but would also satisfy our long term family goals. As you can imagine, we were very selective with this decision. While we both grew up with modest roots, our family homes were the centers of our universe. We were taught to value and cherish our family home and want to provide this same experience for our child.

The home we chose is a great fit for many reasons. From a location standpoint, it’s perfectly situated between the ocean, the mountains, many beautiful New England landmarks, and is within close proximity to a major, historic city.

It also offers plenty of land for our child to explore and play. We can already see where the swing set and tree house will go. With over two acres, we also have a small barn, an apple orchard, and pond where we see many ducks and ducklings swim on cool fall days and warm spring mornings. Our home is also a wonderful place to gather. We’ve had the privilege of hosting several gatherings and look forward to continuing to host here for many years to come. Whether it be sharing a meal at the dining table or enjoying s’mores at the fire pit, we can’t wait to share these memories with our child and experience the power of family and community together.

We love daily trips to Coastal Maine. We enjoy the beach, walks along the rocky coast, and the reward of an ice cream at the end of the day. These are the types of memories we enjoyed as children and want to instill these same memories in our child.

We believe family and community are the cornerstone of a life well-lived. We are fortunate to have such loving and supportive parents who are eager to spend time with their newest grandchild.

We know our parents will love our child as much as their other grandchildren. Our siblings and their spouses offer so much as future aunts and uncles to our child. They have already promised to be our village and to help raise our child as their own. We know this because we have been godfathers to the children of our siblings and friends. Our niece and nephews will become like brothers and a sister to our child. We know they will play, explore and laugh together.

We also value the importance of being a part of the community. We want our child to grow up with a “hometown” where they can fondly look back upon the place where they attended school, played sports, and took part in local events and celebrations. We believe this offers a level of comfort and support that will resonate throughout their life.

We have a series of close friends we have collected over many milestone experiences in our lives. We know our child will be valued and loved by so many and have an endless network of support throughout their lives.
