We are Kimberly and Phil from Middle Tennessee. We want to begin by saying THANK YOU for taking the time to get to know us by reading our letter. We profoundly admire your strength, courage, and selflessness in choosing life, and adoption for your baby. It is obvious how much you care for your child already by putting their needs above all else. We are a happy and loving couple who have always had adoption in our hearts and we are so excited to be considered by you! We understand this must be such a difficult decision for you as you look through so many family profiles. As you read more about us, we hope you feel a connection with us and decide that our family is a wonderful fit for your child to be a part of. Through your compassion, grace, and love in making this heartfelt decision, your child will grow and thrive, and at the same time you would be giving us the most incredible gift on earth - the BLESSING OF BECOMING PARENTS. We would be so deeply honored if you choose us to raise your child.

We are so excited to share our life story with you! It has always been our dream to love and raise children. We will do everything as parents to live up to the hopes and dreams that you have for your child. We promise to teach your child about adoption and we will do everything in our power to make sure your child never doubts your love for them. Your child will always know they have two families who share a deep precious bond. It is our intention to give your child endless amounts of love, hugs, kisses, nurturing, fun and encouragement. We are High School SWEETHEARTS! Separately we are 2 amazing people, but together we crush it! We would describe ourselves as a DYNAMIC DUO like ice cream with sprinkles, mac & cheese, hot cocoa with marshmallows, and peanut butter & jelly. We compliment and balance each other, and we are “Two Peas in a Pod!” We fell hard for each other back in High School and have been inseparable ever since. We feel deeply BLESSED to have found one another and we’ve cherished every moment of our lives together. Our relationship is built on love, respect, unwavering commitment, communication, honesty, trust, kindness, and friendship. No matter what, we’ve got each other’s backs. We are rock solid, ain’t nothing going to break us or shake us...Through laughs and pains, joys and struggles, through thick & thin, our love for one another has grown stronger and more precious everyday.

Kimberly has wanted to adopt children from a very young age. Since becoming a couple we have had many wonderful conversations about becoming parents and adopting children together. For years we tried to expand our family and have children, but we struggled with fertility. After the loss of our second child through miscarriage, we decided to make our dream of adoption a reality. Families are made many ways and we believe it’s always been a part of God’s plan for us to grow our family through adoption. We are so incredibly excited to be on this journey along with you!

KIMBERLY IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SOUL I HAVE EVER MET and I deeply LOVE her! She is an incredible woman that I am truly blessed to have as my soul mate, best friend, and the love of my life. She has an enormous heart, deep faith, and a beautiful, beaming smile. She is so special and she takes my breath away! Although there are not enough words on the planet to describe Kimberly, here are a few: nurturing, giving, fun, adventurous, energetic, silly, quirky, creative, organized, dedicated, articulate, wise, and incredibly multi-talented! She finds joy in everyday life and she loves to laugh! She is a person of truth, conviction, and principle and she is deeply loving, warm, and playful. She has helped me grow as a human being, and as a man ~ She is a brilliant SOLID PARTNER! Kimberly makes me feel so content, like I have it all and I consider myself privileged and honored to walk through life with her by my side.

There is no doubt that Kimberly was born to be a loving mother to children. She lives life passionately and fearlessly and she has unstoppable energy. Her zest for life is truly contagious and draws you in. She has the ability to handle many things at once with tremendous style and grace. Her heart and mind are so open, most especially to people and animals. She pours her life into everyone around her, and into everything she does. She is always thinking of others and she wants to make sure those around her are happy and content. She is undoubtedly an amazing Wife, God-Mother, Aunt, Daughter, Sister, and Friend! I can’t wait for our child to experience her enormous love, care and deep devotion!

Additionally, she is an incredible TEACHER. Kimberly is wise, supportive, patient, and children are instantly drawn to her. I often see students race up to her on campus, cheer her name, and reach out to give her a giant hug. Parents of students often compliment how wonderful she is with their children. She is a person who loves all 4 seasons; She thinks of everything ahead of time and she is always prepared. She is also the best “Doggie Mommy” to our 2 dogs! Kimberly loves being active in all parts of her life; She volunteers, gardens, cooks, bakes, and is athletic. She really does it ALL! Kimberly will be an AMAZING MOM and I cannot wait to be a parent together!

Family is everything to me! I was born and raised in New Jersey in a close knit, Italian/Irish American family with parents who lived and breathed for our happiness. I grew up with 1 brother and 2 sisters. We are all still very close. Phil and I are very proud and honored to be Godparents to my sister’s son. I have such a deep, strong love and affection for children and family ~ I believe both are a gift and a blessing. I learned from my parents, especially my Mom, what it means to be a loving, responsible parent and I am committed to raising my own family with the same selfless devotion, style, and grace that my parents showed me. I am extremely patient and I believe children should be heard, nurtured, encouraged, uplifted, and guided with endless love so they can become the amazing person they were meant to be! I cannot wait to be a MOM!

I enjoy singing, cooking, baking, eating, painting, drawing, and designing. I cook homemade meals every day. I love anything that is musical, artistic, or creative. I am always open to learning new things and I am a big DIY'er. Recently I have started to create and publish books. I also enjoy nature and being outdoors and I consider myself a very healthy and active person. Most days you can find me exercising by running, walking, hiking, biking or skating. So far I have run 5 marathons and 5 half marathons in different states. I love adventure, travelling, and visiting new places. I also believe "there is no place like home" and I love down time, watching movies with popcorn, playing board games, and chilling at home with Phil, our fur babies, family and friends.

I graduated college cum laude with a BFA degree in Acting from MSU. I have acted, directed, written and produced in movies, commercials, and films, but I desired more out of life. My LOVE for CHILDREN called me to be an Elementary School Teacher. In the past 7 years, I have taught grades K-5. Teaching is, very much, about caring for children. I have fed, clothed, wiped noses, given out band-aids and tons of hugs every day! My job is highly rewarding and I feel so happy to be surrounded by children every day. My priority now is to start our family and our plan is for me to be a Stay-at-Home Mom, so I don’t miss a minute with baby! I have great flexibility in my teaching job so I can be home during the most critical years of a child’s life. Nothing is more important to me now than being home to raise a family!

Phil’s warm inviting smile and big blue green eyes drew me in, but his KIND, FRIENDLY, OUTGOING, WARM PERSONALITY and his BIG HEART is what I fell in love with! Phil is a WONDERFUL MAN who is endlessly positive and he has a deep caring, strong sensitive soul. He is genuine, solid, trustworthy, adventurous, romantic, fun, silly, and he loves to make me laugh! Phil is dependable and he has tremendous morals and values. He supports and encourages me and I know I can count on him for anything. Phil is like a secure, snuggly, comforting blanket and he gives GREAT BIG HUGS!. He’s my best friend, the LOVE OF MY LIFE, and I couldn’t ask for a more amazing partner to walk through this life together. He is a rock solid provider, protector, and my soulmate.

Additionally, Phil is easy-going and level-headed. He is a man of compassion, composure, and many talents ~ he pours his life into lifting up and helping others. He is strong, intelligent, confident, articulate, creative, and he will succeed at whatever he puts his mind to. He has great skills and he can fix anything. Phil has a deep faith and he always sees the good in everyone around him. He excels in his career as a High School Teacher and his students adore him. Phil is undoubtedly an amazing Husband, Son, Brother, God-Father, Uncle, and Friend. He is also energetic, athletic, and musically talented. Any day you can catch him playing chess, soccer, or his guitar. With that said, HOME is where his heart is...He loves hanging home, watching TV, playing games, and enjoying the company of family and friends. He is a great help and will do anything that needs doing around the house, whether that be cooking, washing dishes, or taking care of our dogs! Phil is the best “Doggie Daddy" to our fur babies. I love his devotion, care, concern, and affection he shows them everyday.

Most importantly, Phil was born to be the most amazing father. He always puts FAMILY FIRST and he is reliable, patient, caring, and a good listener. He has a natural gift with children and he will be an OUTSTANDING DAD! I can’t wait to watch him teach our little one all the cool stuff he knows, and pass on his love of life, wisdom, skills, and family traditions. I cannot wait to raise a child together!

I grew up in New Jersey with a very vibrant, fun loving, Italian American family. My Mom and Dad gave me a great childhood filled with anything I could’ve ever asked for...love, education, sports, culture, family vacations, fun and tons of devoted extended family. I have fond memories of every Sunday and every Holiday filled with Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. The homemade Italian specialties filled our table and our stomachs; Great music, singing, conversation, and loved ones filled our memories forever. I CANNOT WAIT TO EXTEND THESE WONDERFUL TRADITIONS TO OUR CHILD!

My parents are retired and cannot wait to welcome another Grandchild into the family to love, cherish, and dote on. I am the youngest of 3. I have a great relationship with my two older sisters and they both have been extremely supportive and loving my entire life. On my side we have 3 wonderful nieces and a nephew whom we adore. I am honored and proud to be the Godparent of my 2 nephews.

My first career was in the Entertainment Industry where I acted, directed, produced, and wrote various plays and films. I graduated with a BFA in Acting from MSU. I have been in theatre, commercials, and films, but I needed more to fill my soul. I now work as an educator, as a HIgh School Teacher, for Republic High School in Nashville. I also teach Chess and Soccer. Teaching has given me great insight and experience working with children and young adults. It’s so rewarding! I feel truly blessed to be around children everyday, but BECOMING A DAD WOULD MAKE MY LIFE COMPLETE. I will never miss an important event for our child as teaching affords me great flexibility to be present in their life. I am looking forward to playing, laughing, sharing adventures, and making memories with my future child. I have so MUCH LOVE, SUPPORT, AND GUIDANCE to give a child so they can flourish and fulfill their dreams!

Our fur-babies are the loves of our lives and they bring us so much joy! Nothing makes us happier than waking up next to these two SMOOCHEE faces...Tessa & Bogart. Tessa was rescued in 2011, she is a small, sweet 12 yr. old Basset Hound/Springer Spaniel mix. She is Kimberly's "Hachiko" as she loves to follow her around wherever she goes. She is very smart and she loves to snuggle with us. Her favorite toy is a tennis ball. Bogart was rescued on June 1, 2014. He is a 9 yr. old Pekingese, Poodle, Spaniel and Husky mix. Kimberly creatively named him a "Peek-a-Poo-Splusky!" He is a small and affectionate cuddle-bug! He loves people, animals, and playtime. His favorite toy is "ALL of them!" They both are friendly and very gentle. They love being a part of the family and they are very intuitive. We have taught them good "Doggie Manners" and they can do many fun, doggie tricks! They are super cute and we can't shower them with attention, hugs, scratches, kisses, and love. They enjoy long walks, hiking, playing fetch, and laying on the couch. They accompany us on all of our daily, weekly, and life adventures. We can't wait to see our little one playing with these two...They will be great friends!

We feel so blessed to live in Middle Tennessee and OUR COMFORTABLE HOME IS BURSTING WITH LOVE! This above all, is the most important value within the walls of our home. We cherish all who walk in our door and we love to laugh and have fun! Our home is warm, welcoming, stable, safe, patient, fun, and lived in. Our Neighborhood is FAMILY FRIENDLY, SAFE, and SECURE. We live on a cozy, tree lined cul-de-sac, nestled between lush green hills, and surrounded by peaceful forests, rivers, lakes, and ponds. Our street is filled with families and small children. Kids play together, up and down the streets, every single day. We love knowing that our child will have friends the same age to play with on our block, just as we did when we were kids. We are within walking distance to top rated schools both public and private. We also have our Church, parks, soccer fields, tennis courts, baseball fields, skating rinks, bowling centers, and swimming pools all within 5 minutes. We are also very fortunate that we live in a place where we can EXPERIENCE ALL 4 SEASONS! We have plenty of SUNSHINE, MILD WINTERS with LIGHT SNOW, and a million opportunities for OUTDOOR ADVENTURE, MUSIC, CULTURE & FUN! The open backyard is waiting for a child to play in it. Our baby will have many opportunities to play, learn and grow!

Our Community is diverse, safe, fun and active! People smile, wave, and look out for each other all the time. There is ALWAYS something to do. We have ponds for catch and release fishing, beautiful fountains, Farmer’s Market, multiple Parades, Pancake Breakfasts, Fall Festivities, Turkey Trots, Halloween events, Easter Egg Hunts, Antique Car Shows, Rodeos, Plays and Concerts, fabulous Fireworks on Fourth of July, and endless Christmas events and activities! It is so much FUN to live here!

Our location truly offers the best of everything! We cannot wait to engage our little one in activities during all 4 seasons. Some of the activities we plan to do are going apple picking, playing with leaves, corn mazes, homemade donuts and Halloween trick-or-treating in the Fall; Sleigh Riding, building snowmen, caroling, and sipping hot chocolate in the Winter; Picnics, nature walks, flying kites, sidewalk chalk and planting flowers in the Spring; Pool, campfires, smores, bubbles, mini-golf, waterparks and more in the Summertime! Additionally, all the fun things we look forward to doing with our kiddo are all around us: the Nashville Zoo, Grand Ole Opry, Nashville Adventure Science Center, Dragon Park, Nashville’s Children Theater, Treetop Adventure Park. We are surrounded by rich history, music, and culture. We are close to Natchez Trace National Scenic Park and only a short car ride to Dollywood and Disney World in Florida!

Our Faith is important to us, we hold beliefs that are both spiritual and religious. We deeply value honesty, trust, perseverance, and kindness. We both grew up Catholic and we received Sacraments. We belong to St. Philip's Church, which is right in town. We will supply a foundation for your child that will offer faith, stability, morality, and community. We will pray with them, read to them, but most importantly, listen to them and fulfill their spiritual needs. We believe that any child of ours will be able to grow up being taught about God, Faith, Spirituality and Religion. We will be 100% supportive when they are exploring their expression of Faith and we will help guide, support and respect their decision when they ultimately choose their own path.

Alla Famiglia! Both our families are loving, bonded and close knit. Our parents are retired and cannot wait to welcome another grandchild into the family to love, cherish, and dote on. We love to go on adventures and travel together as a group. We are a curious and active family that likes to explore new places, have fun, and learn about new cultures to deepen our connection with the world. We are blessed to be able to go on many family vacations. We've travelled extensively throughout America and we have visited many other Countries as well. Some of our favorite places are Yellowstone National Park, Carmel Beach, the Jersey Shore, Cape May, NYC, Disney World, Florida, Bar Harbor, Maine, Washington DC, Kentucky, New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, Hoover Dam, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Monterey, Dominican Republic, Atlantis, Bahamas, the Virgin Islands, Cancun, Mexico, Italy, Germany, Paris, France, and more. We cannot wait to explore these places and more with a little one!
