Hello! We are Roxy & Hamlet from sunny Glendale, California. While it’s difficult for us to imagine how hard this must be for you, we respect your decision for choosing adoption. We admire your courage and strength. It takes a woman that is brave, selfless, loving and caring to choose this journey, and we only hope to walk this path with you. Starting a family means the world to us. We want nothing more than to provide a child with a loving and warm environment where they can grow into whoever they want to be and build a family full of unconditional love, endless laughter and unwavering support.

We met in 2012 through a mutual friend who knew that we would be a perfect match given our similar sense of humor, outgoing personalities, and love of travel. Our first date was filled with great conversation - Hamlet is very chatty and Roxy is an excellent listener. We couldn’t believe how the night flew by. The following year was a whirlwind of laughter, adventures and a growing community of friends and family. We both knew we had found our soulmate and during a warm summer night in August, Hamlet proposed over a romantic candlelit dinner. We’ve been grateful for every moment ever since. We had an amazing summer wedding. Our friends and family witnessed our promise to commit to one another forever. It was truly a memorable night filled with love, laughter and dancing.

I was born in Armenia, and at the age of twelve I moved to California with my family. As a child, I loved movies and have fond memories of going on adventures with my younger sister to catch a glimpse of actors on set near our High School.

After graduating from Hollywood High, I earned an Associate of Arts Degree and worked in the legal field as a paralegal for over ten years. I later changed my career path to work for the County of Los Angeles as a social worker, which I have been doing ever since.

Luckily, because most of my work is remote, I can be present and enjoy every moment with our child. Plus, I have a time off policy giving me the ability to be home for most of the first year together. When we have a child, I am most excited for all the little things. I can’t wait to read them bedtime stories, play during bath time, make their favorite meals, and have dance parties as a part of daily life.

Roxy will be the most loving and caring mom there is, she always puts others before herself and I know that our child will always feel loved and supported in everything they do, small or big.

I grew up and attended boarding school on the island of Cyprus located in the Mediterranean. Having been surrounded by water for twenty-three years, I fell in love with the beach and swimming, especially in the blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea.

I attended Cyprus College and earned a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science. I currently work as an IT and have my own business which gives me flexibility to work from home and make my own schedule.

When we have a child, I’m excited to spend time with the kiddo, teach them how to ride a bike, play soccer or attend dance recitals. No matter what their passions and interests are, I will support them unconditionally.
I’m especially excited to experience the joys of parenthood with my wife.

Hamlet has a heart of gold! He always makes time for our family and seeing Hamlet interact with children gives me confidence that he will be the most loving dad.

We have lived in sunny Glendale, California almost all our lives. We love the area we live in because we are within walking distance of an elementary school and beautiful parks, but we also have the great fortune of being surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops and ice cream parlors. We see ourselves walking our child to the nearby ice cream parlor on a hot summer day and enjoying a scoop or two.

We are big believers in family traditions and celebrating holidays of all kinds. Our niece’s birthday falls on Christmas, so we have a tradition of traveling somewhere new every year to celebrate. Thanksgiving is the time where we come together and share what we are thankful for. We’ve spent many holidays in places with snow because we love making a snowman and having snowball fights.

Roxy’s younger sister and her family live in Glendale, California. We spend a lot of weekends together going to the beach, picnicking at the park, hosting game nights and going to dinners and movies. Hamlet and I have always enjoyed spending quality time with our nieces.

Hamlet has a bigger family which consists of his parents and five siblings. They also live in Glendale, California and we spend a lot of time with them as well. We are happy to say our child will have many cousins to play with.

During the big moments, like holidays and birthdays, we make sure to come together around the dinner table and fill our home with love and laughter. We are lucky to be surrounded not only by family, but by great friends who are a big part of our lives! Together, we plan gatherings, parties and trips creating beautiful memories.

We know that this is just a glimpse into our lives, but we hope you feel that you have gotten to know us a bit. We know that this is a very personal and difficult decision and we don’t take it lightly. Nothing means more to us than sharing the unconditional love we have with our future child. We are excited to create a home filled with laughter, love, never-ending support and joy.
