Hi! We’re Samuel and Aline. We are so blessed for the opportunity to introduce ourselves to you and looking forward to this journey with you! We believe that family is what you make it far beyond just genetics. We’ve been together for 2 years but seems as if we’ve known each other a lifetime. We love living in sunny Los Angeles. We always admired hearing adoption stories. In 2023, we discovered that biological children were not in the cards for us. We now are excited to make our own adoption story a reality. Our dream is to build a family filled with love and embracing many experiences such as traveling, learning different cultures and many other exciting things that will enrich our lives. We hope while on this journey that it not only enhances the child’s life but also our own.

We enjoy spending quality time together and during these times it’s always laughing, being silly and affectionate with each other. Cooking is a passion that we share together. We love creating dishes based on what is in our fridge, a fun challenge we do! Our home is always filled with friends and family, and it’s how we were both raised to have a home filled with love and good vibes.

Our favorite thing to do together is to travel, from the excitement of getting on a plane to then landing at a place to explore and make new memories. Our favorite trip so far was to Corsica, France.

When I met Aline, it was love at first sight. I was immediately taken by her kindness and sense of humor. Her unshaken confidence is something that everyone respects and admire, she was the missing piece. We talked about having a baby since the first rendez-vous (date), and I knew she would be an amazing mother. She is caring and have so much love to offer.

Aline’s education in international business. She is now a talented producer. Her job allows her to embrace her passions and be around remarkable individuals. She also has a way of connecting people and helping others with their career choices and providing guidance. Her other title is being a Creative Connector.

Some of Aline’s hobbies include cooking & baking, biking, walking on the beach, watching sunsets, traveling, music, and planning events. She was born in Brazil and is fluent in Portuguese. Growing up, every summer she went to Brazil for 2 months to spend time with her grandparents and extend family.

Samuel has the most amazing heart and I admire the man he is and continues to show me every day. He has this energy that people always want to be around and listen to him. When he smiles you can’t help it but to smile back it’s contagious. He has so much love to give that I don’t think he even realizes it. He will be an amazing father and I can’t wait to see it. From the moment I met him I had a feeling he was the one.

Samuel went to college in Paris and for 10 years was a successful banker. He then shifted careers to follow his passion as a baker and pastry chef. He opened a Boulangerie (French Bakery) in Los Angeles and loves providing quality baked goods to the community.

Some of Samuel’s hobbies include dancing (salsa), cooking & baking, traveling, traveling, snowboarding, working out.He was born in FRANCE and is fluent in French. Growing up, every summer he went to Martinique (French Caribbean island) to visit his family. Here he learned about his culture and family tree. Those trips have provided him with such a strong foundation in who he is.

We live in Los Angeles, California close to the beach and marina. We love it!

We moved into this cute home November 2023. It’s a single-family home with 3 bedrooms and so much character. We fell in love with the backyard and our citrus front yard when we visited it for the first time.

Truly the best part of where we live is that our home is walking distance to the marina and beach. We take walks or go for bike rides and always see the seals and occasionally we have dolphins. When home we spend most of the daytime sitting in our backyard enjoying the sun or talking about what we can plant. We are looking forward to creating a little garden where we can plant our veggies and have some fruits.

This home reminds us every day how special it would be to start our family here.

We are beyond blessed to have loving and supportive families and friends near us as well as in other parts of the US, France, and Brazil.

Both of our parents don’t live in California, but we see each other often and speak every day. Distance is hard and at times challenging for us and that’s why we often visit or have them come to us. When together we always make and learn traditional dishes from our childhood. We watch soccer (aka football in France & Brazil) and it’s always animated in many languages. Samuel is learning Portuguese and Aline is learning French.

We enjoy spending time with our nephews and niece. They think we are the coolest aunt & uncle.

We can’t wait to introduce them to our new family member.

We are ready for this new chapter to begin and fill this child (children) with so much love. Starting our own traditions like Saturday morning trips to our bakery to eat fresh croissants made by Samuel and go grocery shopping at the local farmer’s market. And most important tradition will be adding stamps to all our passports.

Our relationship will be based on love, respect, supporting each other and trust. We see our role as parents to provide a good education, guidance, and values for our child. Sharing our experiences and allowing them to learn and create their own personal legend is very important for us. We want to make sure they are embraced in the French and Brazilian culture and learn to speak as many languages they desire. Our goal is to provide unconditional love.

Our promise to you is to surround your baby with love, constant support, an international family and many experiences that will provide unforgettable memories and a strong foundation for their future.

We will devote our lives to providing a happy home filled with laughter for your child. We will be open-minded, supportive and always protect them.
