Hello! We are Sapna & Rajeev and our son, Ronen from Mercer Island, Washington. With incredibly grateful hearts, we thank you for taking the time to know us better. Your underlying courage and selflessness are an inspiration, and we send you all our love.

Our best moments in life are with kids! In part, because we are unable to expand our family biologically, we are thrilled to be able to add to our family through adoption. We absolutely love being parents and adore raising kind, healthy, fun and confident kids by helping them pursue their dreams in a nurturing environment.

From the time we started dating, we both shared this big dream of adopting and building a loving, awesome family. For us, it’s about giving kids a shot at a great life, showing them love, and making a real impact. It’s incredible to see our family grow, and it’s not just about biology; it’s about forging special connections through love and creating bonds that go beyond blood ties. This is how we want to craft our beautiful, well-knit family, all based on pure love and commitment.

We’ve known each other since we were little kids, living as next-door buddies. Our families bonded so well, we managed to stay pals as we grew up, through the awkward teen years and well into adulthood.

Destiny had its own plans as it kept tossing us in each other’s direction time and time again. Our real story began at Rajeev’s sister’s wedding, where he couldn’t take his eyes off Sapna, as she looked drop-dead gorgeous in a resplendent red outfit, like a movie star. Rajeev, feeling like a character in a romantic comedy, decided to make the first move by gifting Sapna a cheesy romance-comedy novel and sneakily slipping in a request for a movie date.

Sapna, being the fun-loving spirit that she is, burst into laughter, and that’s how our fabulous love story kicked off. Fast forward a few years, and we decided to tie the knot in a cozy, intimate ceremony. Now, it’s been 18 amazing years of us being inseparable, and our dedication has only gotten stronger with time!

My personality is a vibrant blend of sunny optimism, bringing a cheerful and uplifting energy to those around me. I am naturally jovial, finding joy in the simple moments of life. I crack jokes, prank friends & family and love to travel.

Creativity flows through me as I make casual video games for a living. I’m very proud of building an amazing team of artists and engineers and innovative games from scratch as a startup CEO. I’m all about those heartwarming moments - sharing ice creams, building epic forts, hearing those sweet “I love you’s”, and being someone’s superhero.

I’m filled with a cozy warmth and a sense of adventure in anticipation of becoming a father again. I eagerly look forward to embarking on this transformative journey and creating a loving home and fond memories for the new child!

Rajeev is an amazing, loving and compassionate partner who rightly sees his role as a father to be the most significant measure of his character. He is the bedrock of the family and also the funniest in the family. It is easy to fall in love with him.

Whenever we find ourselves in social gatherings with kids around, Rajeev is the first to dive in and strike up meaningful chats with the little ones. He treats them with the utmost respect and makes them feel incredibly valued. It’s no wonder he’s the go-to favorite person for many of our friends’ kids.

We share a world of wonderful experiences, from adventurous hikes to heartfelt conversations, from nurturing our home garden to crafting the perfect interior decor. Embarking on this life journey with Rajeev has been an absolute blessing, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Rajeev makes video games in his studio that is 10 minutes away and can also work from home as desirable, as he is the CEO of the startup.

I’m all about spreading joy, nurturing and being a mentor extraordinaire. By day, I’m diving into the wild world of crypto as a curious engineer, and the rest of the time, I’m a walking ball of cheerful and optimistic vibes. I believe that a touch of imagination adds creativity to my thinking. I value independence and feel that my greatest accomplishments in life are family oriented.

To me, being a parent is like a thrilling and very fulfilling adventure—whether it’s the contagious laughter of little ones, the joyous chaos of play sessions, or the quiet moments of bedtime stories and cuddles - the journey is purely magical!

I fell in love with Sapna’s warm heart and her delightful rustic sense of humor. Sapna is a very compassionate, loving and caring woman with lots of love to share. She is also very smart, yet humble, and delights everyone with her story telling skills in social and family gatherings.

Sapna and I deeply share the love of outdoors, nurturing our plants, exploring international cuisine and getting creative with interior decor. Sapna being gentle, kind and a loving mother are my favorite things about her. But what truly warms my heart is Sapna’s gentle, kind nature and her incredible love as a mother. Those are the things I cherish most about her.

Sapna works as an engineer from the comfort of our home, and the best part is, she’s got some pretty generous maternity benefits lined up. When the time comes for us to adopt, we’re truly fortunate that she’ll be able to stay at home and provide all the love and care our little one needs.

Rajeev creates video games for families, and he’s proud of making fun and educational games while building an important startup.

Sapna works in the crypto industry and is proud of using new technologies to bring trust and independence to people.

Sapna’s company allows her to work from home all year, and Rajeev owns his own company, so he can be there for anything at home whenever it’s needed. Both companies offer great family benefits.

I’m Ronen. Many people say I have a sunny, cheerful personality that lights up our world. My mom and dad always tell me I’m their bundle of joy.

I love video games, geography (I know ALL countries’ flags), and I’m the #1 Chess Player in my school. I wanted to be a fireman when I grow up, but I changed my mind to be a professional chess player and entrepreneur.
I want to be the best brother in the world, play Legos, and teach video games to my new brother or sister. We’re going to have a ton of fun together!

As a family, we’re all about embracing that cozy, heartwarming vibe. We do it all together, from hiking to heart-to-heart chats, tending to our garden, building epic Lego creations, and diving into fun board games. We even get our creative juices flowing with interior decorating projects. And like clockwork, you’ll find us out and about every Saturday, exploring parks, landmarks, and beautiful beaches all over the country before capping it off with a delightful dinner.

Vacationing abroad is a fun source of bonding for us. We’ve already checked out over a dozen countries, and our plan is to keep the globe-trotting going strong, aiming to visit a brand-new country every year.

Our wonderful Mercer Island is often described as ‘A true island community on Lake Washington, where nature’s beauty meets urban charm.’ It’s known for being extremely safe, vibrant, and walkable, with lush parks and beaches just around the corner.

Within walking distance are well-maintained parks, the urban downtown area, and miles of stunning shoreline. Our community has received accolades for being recognized as one of the ‘Top 50 Suburbs in the United States,’ thanks to its excellent schools, 50 miles of hiking trails, and beautiful beaches. The Mercer Island School District (MISD) even ranks in the top 1% of all 300 school districts.

Our home is a cozy, bright, and cheerful adobe, adorned with Sapna’s and Ronen’s artwork and cherished family photos. We’re surrounded by lush greenery, and the views of Mt. Rainier and Lake Washington are simply breathtaking. When the weekend rolls around, our private rooftop is the perfect spot for some laid-back family time.

Our extended family is like a beautiful tapestry woven with family values, where love, support, and respect are in abundance. Both sets of our parents, who are enjoying their golden years in India, absolutely adore their grandkids. They seize every opportunity to be with them, showering them with affection and gifts. These wonderful grandparents are the rock-solid foundation of our support system, and they can’t wait to welcome the newest addition to the family.

Sapna’s brother is based in Washington, D.C. with his spouse and two lovely kids. He’s the proud parent of an adorable, 4 year old Aaron, and the sweet 8-month-old, little Zoe. We get together multiple times a year, and he’s always there to lend a hand, no matter the weather.

Rajeev has two incredible sisters, both with two kids of their own. Two of these cousins attended the University of California and have grown into incredibly well-rounded individuals. They make it a point to visit us every year, especially during the holiday season, adding to the festive cheer.

Our circle also includes a fantastic group of highly accomplished friends, some of whom we’ve known for over 25 years. They bring an extra layer of warmth, shared memories, and an incredible support system to our lives. We genuinely consider ourselves lucky to have them as part of our extended family.
