I deeply respect you and your decision to consider adoption and hope my profile gives you a glimpse into my life, who I am and the future I promise to provide your child.
Dear Birth Mother...
A Little About Me
I have a big extended family and we spend a lot of time together. Sundays after church are usually family dinner days. Living so close to my mom, I see her several days a week and have been very close to her my whole life. She has always been a loving, selfless mother and I hope to raise my future child with the love, care and dedication shown to me throughout my upbringing by my parents.
Values I Hope to Share with My Future Child
- Loving themselves
- The joy of learning
- Happiness
- Honesty
- Respect
- Empathy
- And many more that will enrich their life
More About Who I Am
Being raised in a place like Los Angeles, the culture and experiences are endless. My Middle-Eastern background has enriched my life with strong family connections and values. My parents raised my sister and me to embrace and respect not just our culture, but all alike.
Most of my friends already have children so I've been blessed by being an auntie to many. I'm now ready to be a mother and raise my future child with lots of family, friends and cousins. Watching my nephew grow has brought me so much joy. I cannot wait for him to grow up with my future child.
My Fun Facts and Favorites
- Favorite vacation spot is Paris, France
- Favorite musical artist is Maxwell. I've done a meet and greet with him three times.
- I speak English, Arabic and some French
- My favorite sports teams are the Los Angeles Lakers and Dodgers. I am an LA girl at heart!
- My favorite ice cream flavor is mint chip
- My prized collection is of my marathon medals. I've completed 15 total.
Hobbies - Things I Enjoy and Plan to Share with My Future Child
- Marathon running - Yes, 26.2 miles!
- Cooking - (and eating) all different kinds of foods
- Traveling - I've been to 17 countries and 15 states and I hope to visit many more! Growing up, we traveled as a family and this is a gift I hope to share with my future child. There was never a shortage of something fun to do or a new adventure to go on. Whether it was the beach, a walk in our neighborhood, a hike or a road trip to the mountains, my parents always found a creative way to bond as a family. This is where I get my sense of adventure to embrace new activities and experiences from. I'm always open to try new things.
Where I Call Home
I currently live in the suburb of Burbank, California where the community is quiet, safe and connected. Since I work from home with my family business, I have the stability and flexibility of a rewarding career that is both financially and emotionally satisfying. It has provided me with the value of being connected to my family in more ways than one. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to attend private schools/university and will plan to provide the same, and more, for my future child. I will encourage them to take different paths and try new things to be the best version of themselves. I plan on doing this through education, travel and instilling strong family values and traditions. My parents led the way with a loving and bonded relationship by allowing me to have a balance of independence and freedom while maintaining a stable and happy home.
My Family
Family is important to me. I believe parenting is a combination of guiding and teaching a child while also nurturing a friendship. The most important things in my life are my family and friends, many of which are lasting friendships of over 20 years. Having a cousin that was adopted by a single mother, I was able to hear of the gift of adoption and the blessing of every child. These are all lessons I have learned from my own upbringing.
Our weekly family gatherings and holidays, like Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving, are always full of extended family, love and lots of food. My parents always showed us a balance of celebrating the true meaning of each holiday while still enjoying all the traditions that come with them.
About My Faith
My faith is what keeps me grounded and is a big part of my life. I was raised going to church and my family has been part of our parish since before I was born.
As a Parent, I Promise...
I promise to raise my future child in a home filled with traditions that were instilled in me by my parents through their cultures. Always leading the way with unconditional love and acceptance and providing my future child with the space to explore new paths. I want to encourage their independence but remain emotionally available and instill confidence to be a good person with morals and values.
