Hello! We are Tyler & Mayla, along with our daughter, Chloe, from Amador County, California. We have always been on the path to adoption. Mayla is an adoptee herself. Since she was a little girl she knew adopting was something she wanted to do. We have the utmost respect and love for you in this difficult decision. We support you in the choices you make for you and your baby.

We have deep roots in the town we live with many family members steps from our front door. We want to give our future child the same beautiful life that not only Mayla’s adoptive parents gave her but just as important the life her biological mother gave her.

We have known each other since the 1st grade! We became friends in high school and stayed best friends throughout the years. Tyler’s daughter Chloe was born in 2012 and being close friends, Mayla loved Chloe since she was born. In 2019 we both realized the best friend we were searching for was standing right in front of each other. We married in 2021 and purchased our first home in 2022 right next to the family ranch. Mayla made Chloe a promise on our wedding day that she will love her unconditionally every day.

We have a stable home built on friendship and traditions that is full of laughter, love & support from our family and friends. We eat a homemade dinner together every night and breakfast on the weekends. We both have stable careers that give us a good work/life balance. Family game nights are a must for the three of us. We have weekly Friday night dinners with Tyler’s parents. Many summer nights are spent next door at Mayla’s parents pool then laying a few rounds of our favorite game RummiKub. On weekends you can find us in the yard, watching a movie or off playing on Mayla’s family’s 500 acre ranch right in our back yard with all the cousins. We strive to take a vacation each year and many visits to the family mountain cabin about an hour away.

Tyler is the 4th generation of his family to live in our town. My brother and I were lucky to grow up near our grandparents and our Aunts/Uncles. I like to trap shoot and work with my hands. You can often find me tinkering in the garage. My daughter, Chloe, was born when I was 20. I have been a single dad for most of Chloe’s life. I was able to do so with the unwavering support of my family and friends, for that I am grateful.

Tyler is a handy man, a gentleman, has a weakness for sweets, a great sense of humor and proud of his Italian heritage. He is a member of the Italian Benevolent Society, which gives back to our community. Most importantly a loving, respectful and supportive father, husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. He is extremely dependable, showing up every day no matter what the occasion.

I am the 6th generation of my dad’s family to live in our town, so I feel like I am constantly surrounded by extended family members. I am Hispanic, just like my adoptive mother’s family. I have always known that I was adopted. I grew up proud knowing that I was adopted. My parents and brother fully supported me to reconnect with my biological family. I was able to reconnect with my biological family as an adult; a few of them even came to our wedding! I feel blessed to have so much love in my life. I love gardening, going for walks, and relaxing Sunday drives.

Tyler said this to Mayla on our wedding day: “Mayla, you have been unbelievably kind and loving to my daughter Chloe. Most people know I don’t smile a lot, but then I see you two doing homework or planting flowers outside together it just melts my heart and brings a smile to my face and soul.”

Chloe is a kind, outgoing and responsible 11 year old. Chloe lives with us 50% of the time. Chloe enjoys art, dancing, music and is an avid shower singer. Mayla’s entire family has embraced her as their own. Chloe loves spending time with her big blended family, especially her ‘new’ cousins. Chloe loves family bike rides and game nights. Chloe is in 4H and cheerleading.

Chloe is excited to welcome a new sibling as she is already an amazing big sister.

Our home is located in a small community in Northern California, two hours from San Francisco and Tahoe. We are very active in our small community. We both participate in various local clubs that give back to our community. We are both lucky to have many close friends and family members that live nearby. Both of our families have lived in our community for many generations. Mayla’s parents live next door.

The schools are right down the street from us and Mayla has enjoyed being able to Chloe to school.

We have a wonderful support system of family and friends that are there for us at any time. We see our parents multiple times a week, Mayla sees her mom practically every day since she works with her mom. Our families enjoy spending time together, in fact Tyler’s dad and Mayla’s parents went to Scotland together before meeting the three of us in Ireland. Tyler’s Uncle Jeff watches Chloe two days a week after she gets out of school, he taught her many things from woodworking to making raviolis. We cannot be more grateful to our village for the support they have shown us. We know they will accept your baby 100%.

Adoption is something Mayla’s family is familiar with, as not only was Mayla adopted, but a few of her cousins were as well! They also have fully embraced Chloe.

If you choose us as adoptive parents for your child, we will provide them with unconditional love. Our community will embrace them. We will raise them in a loving and safe household, where we will instill strong morals and values of education, kindness, empathy, and honesty. We will teach them persistence and perseverance and create new traditions with them.

Your baby will know they are adopted, and we will make sure they know that you love them unconditionally. We know that adoption is a lifelong commitment, and we are ready
to embark on the journey.
