Hi! Our names are Victoria & Chris. We have 2 dogs, 3 cats and 2 fish. We are unable to have a biological child and absolutely love the idea of adoption. We love the idea that you get to choose us as well! We are hoping to be able to have pictures of you and some information so that when your child is old enough to ask questions we are able to show our child where he/she came from.

We met through mutual friends. Chris was living in Hawaii at the time. We started out talking pretty much every day and developed a strong friendship which later turned into more once we were both living in the same state!

Our relationship is built around humor and communication. We had our ups and downs but it has created a very strong bond between the two of us. All of this stuff is why we know we will be great parents to your child. We love to have fun and experience new and exciting things and hope to be able to show your child all kinds of fun things and places! We have 5 nieces that we love to spend time with. There is a park in our neighborhood that we frequently walk to as well. We are both unable to have a biological child and it is okay because we know that there is a child out there who needs us!

I grew up in Michigan and spent my youth involved in many outdoor activities including fishing, riding bikes, and building forts with my cousin. I also enjoyed many sports including baseball, hockey and golf. After I completed high school, I joined the U.S. Navy and spent the next 6 years traveling the world. In that span I visited over 30 countries, including Scotland, Spain, Germany, Columbia, and Lithuania to name a few. After I was honorably discharged, I finished up my bachelor’s in computer information systems and continued my career in IT, including spending almost 2 years in Afghanistan supporting our Special Forces and Intelligence communities. I am really excited to start a new chapter in my life as a father and sharing my life experiences with my child.

Chris is a fun-loving guy who loves to teach people new things. I cannot wait to see him teach our child how to fish, play golf, and many other things including teaching them about other cultures. He loves to build Legos with our nieces and is the “fun” uncle. I look forward to seeing him play with and teach our child new things!

I grew up on a fruit farm and loved the life I had and still do have. My family still has a farm which has two lakes on it that we go to in the summers quite often. I love animals, especially rescued animals! All of our animals are rescued from people or shelters. Growing up on a farm taught me respect for people and everything in nature. I hope to be able to one day teach your child these same things. I also have a cosmetology job that I love because we are basically all one big family so it is very similar to the way I grew up.

Victoria’s passion for hard work, her dedication to her family, and her strong morals are what first attracted me to her when we first met around 12 years ago. Victoria is the perfect balance for me, as her strengths are my weaknesses and vice versa. There are very few people on this planet that have made me laugh more than my wife which I treasure tremendously. I believe her commitment to her family, along with her positive interactions with our nieces for their whole lives make me look forward to seeing how wonderful she will be as a mom.

We have very different interests when it comes to hobbies! Chris loves to play video/computer games, Star Wars, Detroit Tigers baseball, Legos, and Detroit Redwings. Victoria likes to garden, craft (even though some of the projects take a little longer to complete than it should), can fruit and vegetables, and help animals in need. We have recently gotten more into exercise and healthier eating together as well. We feel that any hobbies or activities we do can always involve children and it is a fantastic way for them to learn something new.

We are located in Michigan and love it! We live in a very good neighborhood where everyone gets along and watches out for each other. We love that there is a park with a splash pad that is walking distance and has something for any age child. Victoria and her dad built an area for a small garden in the back yard and Chris loves Legos and has a small collection that he adds to every Christmas or birthday. We love that there are four seasons where we live because there are so many cool things to do. The school systems around us are very good and include a large amount of diversity which we love!

We also live pretty close to lake Michigan which is fun during all of the seasons especially for our nieces. There is also a school that has 2 pools and a splash pad area for little kids that is right by our house as well.

Our neighborhood loves Halloween and almost all of the houses participate in handing out candy and making it fun for any kids who come to our neighborhood. We love to decorate for every holiday and cannot wait for your child to experience this with us. For us it is exciting and makes us look forward to the holiday coming up!

We are very close with our families, especially our nieces. We have 5 nieces total who range 4-13 years old. We love to do all kinds of things with them. We like to go to the escape rooms, the lake in the summer, the zoo, and many events in the fall.

Victoria’s family lives on a farm so we are there often for holidays, birthdays, and just for fun. Chris’ family lives in town so we go over there to swim in the pool, fake camp in the backyard, have holidays and grill! We are also very close to our work families and frequently have get togethers with them and their entire families including their children.

We want to travel everywhere and will bring your child with us so they can see what they like and so that they can meet all kinds of people and see the world.

The family values we want to teach your child is that family comes first and that we will always do anything in our power to protect and love your child no matter what! We want holidays and birthdays to be magical for your child. We also want to teach to give back and to always love people even though there will be times they do not want to. We will teach your child to be accepting. We will also teach him/her to have a wide range of knowledge about foods, cultures, art, the outdoors, and anything else that we can let them experience. We promise to always love, respect, protect, and involve your child in anything and everything that we do. We promise to teach them right from wrong. We also promise to tell your child that you chose to allow us the opportunity to have him/her be our child because you loved your child that much!
